Feed garbage baby wyverns(lvl 85+) to them for an easy tame. I use a glowpet to find 150s, with an argent,and just grab and drop in a taming pen. Run around the wyvern to get the troodon to attack if need be...just bring stimulants. Easy to breed as well once you get a pair.

If you are on the beach you’re lucky to not encountering the troodon at night

You dont have to tame them...YOU NEED THEM decent levels can kill a frikin rex and they deal torpor even if you have to feed them baby trikes in neutral they are great things and you can do enclosures for them (Jurassic World XD)

Taming it in the wild is annoying. I suggest building a 2x2 trap with solid walls because they will run through doorway. Drop it in with an argy and use the argy to drop whatever you're feeding it in there with it. Stand far enough away so you dont have to hear the horrid sounds and drop in the next dino when you get the your dino was killed message. Repeat until tamed.

Some people have asked for ark mobile but you need to go into a dungeon kill them and take the implant then revive it a a revival platform that is blocked off and drop tames in from above moschops are the best as they won’t attack at all just make sure it’s night

Shoot it from very very far away

These things have a massive turn radius! Once I wasx knocked out and one only managed to hit me like once every two minutes!

Just stat away from them at nighttime, in the morning you can bola them then shoot them with arrows and they will easily die!

Troodons are deadly purely because of their poison. Be alone or in groups, they rarely deal any real damage when wild. But consider those facts about their poison:

1-It ignores armor: No matter the damage you receive, the effect of poison is applied to reach exact 50 points of torpor during the 10 seconds it last. The only way to not pass out after a Troodon bite is having at least a point of fortitude or using Stimulants.

2- It does not stack, but can be re-applied; When fighting groups, don't panick as they won'y knock you down any faster because of their numbers. If possible, kill them with headshots before fainting instead of running.

As always, consider bolting to a safe area with a flying or climbing mount after the poison shows its fangs.

If you see glowing eyes in the dark... RUN AS FAST AS POSSIBLE

PVP A pain to tame but an epic PVP tame.

I tried to do it but it didn’t work I had to tranquilizer and put food in it and surprisingly it worked and I learned another way that if you put food in it what was it called again oh yeah prime meat in your last slot it works to tame them and also you could use your soaps as a substitute you could use yourself but you have to you put a lot of points into your Health at least like 12 or 17 or something

Easy done on any map with both Troodons and gigas (wyverns also work in place) put the Troodon in a pen and hatch the giga (feed it just in case) lower it’s health to a 1 shot kill for the Troodon and repeat with opposite gender to ruin players with your army

you can carry them with a pteranodon and drop them into a stone house with no proof to farm their eggs, which in turn as long as you have tranq arrows boom eggs

I've been killed by these guys so many times I don't go drop hunting at night anymore. The most annoying thing is that they are in groups and you could be taming one and then it turns night and then WAM all the others are murdering you. But they would be a good hunting tame.

THEY ARE AFRIAD OF LIGHT just use a torch and if they are feeling jumpy they will try to attack you just catch them on fire and watch them run
