Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a titanoboa? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a titanoboa.
Idk if this is a bug with the snake or a skiff bug but if you have a friend pick the snek up with a skiff and you tranq it, you can then drop the eggs directly on sneaks head and it will insta eat them. When it wakes up its fully tamed. Doot to let people know
These guys are quite easy if u know what your doing first just trap it in some rocks, lasso etc and the knock it out and do a ceramony with fertilized eggs just put eggs around it and wait till it wakes up then it will eat the eggs and it will love you btw hope your doing well for the pandemic-Ryker
Tranq first. Lay a trail of eggs in a direction you can walk straight in reverse. When it comes to, start walking backwards it will eat the eggs while it follows you. Good luck. Keep about 8 dilphos on standby in case you run out of eggs.

I survived one bite.. dont get bitten twice or your gona go nighty night up so noobs and neutrials can look
OK this is not a tip but why the he'll can't mobile players tame it does wild card have a problem with mobiles like we want to tame it
While trying to kill the things just keep on backing up and when it gets close enough punch it, it will be knocked back then slowly get closer to you again, repeat this for a bit and it will die, btw they drop good stuff like tranq arrows, pickaxes, etc
Kairuku egg taming amount is completely wrong. Use Rex eggs, quick af
Put in in a 3x3x3 pen w an argy and feed feet eggs
to tame a snake level 20 in 1x I used 5 fertilized eggs from Rex and 2 from Quetz. I just dropped them on the floor and took the snake. Very fast and easy.
Up if you think this needs a tlc
I found an unconscious Trike in the swamp, starving, but still had full torpor. Never saw the snake.
Rock Drake eggs work as well. Not sure why theyre not on the list.
For those who are dum like me And Took too much time tryna figure out how to Fertilize an egg all ya need to do is :
gather two of you're tamed creatures ( 1 male and 1 female ) ( THEY MUST BE TAMED. )
Click The Trex Head thingy on them and Enable wandering.
Place them in A Space Big enough for the two of them to fit But not enought for them to run around cuz it will ruin the mating progress [ They MUST. be really close to each other ]
After that Just wait until the female poops out an egg and Give it sum food for its hard work.
[ Also. some eggs die very quickly if its too hot or too cold like dodo eggs ]
When trying to tame, remember the snek will only use fertilized eggs. Its a passive tame, but you must drop the eggs on the ground. Knowing this it’s better to make a 4x4 pen and drop the snek in, while also dropping the fertilized eggs in the pen.
If on aberration, holding a snek with the karkinos over your eggs will also allow the snek to eat eggs while not needing a pen. This is much easier.
Idk if it's a glitch or not but the sickle can 1-shot these most of the time. It might be my stats too.
Tame a paracer, make platform saddle, put fertilized eggs in paracer inventory, find boa, drop eggs from paracer inventory, BOOM boa is yours! Boas will not aggro on a paracer!
the snake can't be tamed in mobile for the blind ppl to know
I just figured something out that might prove vital for taming these. If you go to the cave that contains The Artifact Of The Hunter and bait these guys into the water, just kill off the ones that aren’t near to the bottom of the waterpool that they end up in. They seem to become pacified by the water, meaning you can get as close to them as you want now, and they won’t get angry at you for doing so anymore (provided you stay IN THE WATER, level up oxygen stats) This also means you can now drop a fertilized egg near them without having to worry about getting knocked out. They will become angry again if you try to leave the water, however. So it would be best to level up oxygen or bring a Diplocaulus before attempting, to avoid prematurely drowning and withering away before the snake has been tamed. I noticed it spent extended periods in the water, which means it lacks the oxygen stat, so I’ll ready a batch of fertilized eggs and report back once I can get a result. As a warning to players unaware of caves or Titanoboas in general, I’d advise you not attempt this due to a few factors. A: The snakes are highly aggressive and will tranquilize you with their attack. B: They require you to drop fertilized eggs near them, and most of the eggs needed come from creatures that are dangerous to tame, and C: The caves generally have plenty more dangers to worry about, especially if you rely on your armor, tames and consciousness to keep you alive. With that being said, you likely do NOT want to attempt what I’m about to do until you have a pinch better quality equipment and have leveled a bit better.
To tame this srithing demon you CANT KNOCK OT OUT if you are low level RUN I'd you aren't use Trang arrows to knock it out build spikes around it to trap it put eggs in WHEN AWAKE or far away in the trap If asleep and the eggs HAVE TO BE FERTILE WHEN WILED and use MORE then 1 egg probably 15 and DONT use big eggs it won't eat them my recommendation is to use dodo eggs if they bite you use stimberries or else you are dead they will knock you out.
Um, idk if it's a glitch but I'm trying tame a Titanoboa lv.15 with my Voidwyrm and it says Taming:130.8%??? The heck?
