This is the reason new players should avoid the swamps. Unless you got some decent armor and an antidote, or are just an absolute legend, avoid these. Actually just avoid swamps all together.

Pro tip if you are in the swamp water at night time you are going to die because you can’t take out your torch so snakes will be right in front of you and you won’t know until they start attacking. Titanoboa can be easily killed with a slingshot. Just back up and make sure you pumped weight and move speed and whenever it gets close turn and run jump once or twice and turn around and continue, they give metal tools sometimes so their great early game kills, just carry stim berries on your hotbar

While trying to kill the things just keep on backing up and when it gets close enough punch it, it will be knocked back then slowly get closer to you again, repeat this for a bit and it will die, btw they drop good stuff like tranq arrows, pickaxes, etc
