What are tips for titanoboa? Tips and strategies for titanoboa in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
If you want to go into swamp, have at least a 180%+ melee and 1200+ health spino or over and have it follow you on neutral, so if you accidentally fall off or get kapro-ed it can kill any nearby dangers and save you (bring bolas), especially if knocked out by Titanoboa, it will stay by your side, or 5 dimorphidons with 250% melee and 500+ health
After tamed, they only eat eggs. They can just be unfert dodo eggs though so don’t fret.
I'm not sure but one went In the water and killed me so I don't know if they can survive underwater but I'm sure if your eascaping them avoid water they will catch up
God, I’ve seen so many where I’ve been exploring, they are SO easy to kill with about 2 headshots, just run to a safe distance then turn around and headshot it twice and you should be getting that hide and meat in no-time.
Becareful when going to swamp be sure to wear your headphones or earphones BECAUSE THEY ARE FRICKIN SNEAKY AF
Takes way more eggs than what Dododex has on there now!!! Bring extra!
Use Use a flyer like the pteranodon and drop the eggs near it easiest way since without without it you you dead
Tame will riding on a theri as the titanboa will not agro it
If you're wanting to tame one of these, use a flyer and drop an egg near the Titianoboa. Also don't fly too low for that will make the Titianoboa agro on you.
Fly above it and drop eggs from above to tame. Use an Argentavis so you can carry it back to your Base after the tame.
After trying many different tactics (using a bird, a pen, etc) the best way by far was to ride into the swamp on a big dino that the titanoboa will ignore (i used an allosaur), kill all distractions around the boa that I wanted to tame (phiomias, trikes, etc.) and then drop fertilized eggs from my own inventory directly on the boa.
If for some reason the boa attacks you, forget it and find another since you won't be able to tame it (won't eat the eggs).
You can use honey to attract the boa near your egg if it went away (remember that dismounting without ghillie & repellant will probably cause the boa tobattack you).
They are off on there on there stuff I tamed 130 last night came out to a 194 and used Rex eggs 28 of them
Easy take method to use a large carnivore like rex/spino/yutyrannus and drop the eggs near it, since it doesn't like to pick fights with those dinos it can remain passive. still wouldn't recommend touching it as that might aggro
Using an Argentavis or any other flyer, you can drop eggs near the Titanoboa. This will prevent the Titanoboa from aggroing on you — but be careful not to get too close. Just know that you won't be close enough to see the taming bar. Once tamed, you can pick up the Titanoboa with your flyer and bring your new snek back to your base! ?
Make a small pen an agro one into it, wait until lost the agro and with a flyer (I prefer Quetzal) start droping fert eggs, as soon as eat it throw the next one until its tame. Took me 22 fert rex eggs to tame a lv 100. Good Luck.
Aggro the snake while on a bird, drop a fertilized egg and wait for it to get close. Immediately fly straight up into the sky and it should lose interest in you fairly quickly and go after the egg. Repeat until tamed!
*make sure nothing else is around for the snake to attack*
Drop fertilized egg to ground near titanboa for tamed.
Passive tame with fertile eggs, better the egg more taming achieved, e.g. Rex eggs do more than dodo.
They say that you are going to feed em fertilized eggs when they become tamible.
