Tips & Strategies

What are tips for thylacoleo? Tips and strategies for thylacoleo in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Always look at the trees... that’s the only advice I can give
IF YOU OUT RUN THIS THERE IS SOMETHING BIGGER AND WORSE IS NEAR!
Try to lure one of them out into the open, get up where they can’t reach you and shoot them with tranqs. When they run off use your club to knock them out and use cooked meat to tame. This worked very well for me :)
Warning other thylo's will attack its own kind
Don't keep your Dino on passive I've been saved a lode of timers with my own thylacoleo
Easily pick them out of the trees using a Wyvern to destroy the low level spawns or to carry to your trap. I used this method on Ragnarok
Let them jump at you and step away at the last moment, then run away and hope for the best
They can now be carried by argies after the new talc was released!
Are they tamable in scorched earth
Never knock it out in a bush. I lost one that way. Rest In Peace about 100 narcotics and twenty some prime meat
If your trying to get one of these of theyre tree without being outright murderized grab high stam ptera then do the burst through the trees a bunch will pounce but miss you then lead them to cliff and easy tame
If you are going threw the rw be on a high damage ground mount ON NEUTRAL then when you are getting fucked over the mount will kill it with ease
When you wanna lose a bird, flu through the red woods, he’ll be waiting.
Cannot take you off paracer platform if you have a door in front of you.
It will jump on u and kill u cause it did it to me
I once legit found 5 thylas in 1 tree... beside my base
If taming these, they prefer COOKED meat to RAW meat. If you don’t use kibble, or don’t have any, cooked lam chops are the way to go. (Cooked mutton). Also, DONT FLY TO LOW IN THE REDWOODS! They’ll eat your ass like tommorows breakfast.
Fun to use. Recommended spy glass for taming for optimal level because if you see one and you fly up to look at level. Well you’re dead.
They spawn right below the branch line of big redwoods. Stay away from/above them and they'll stay there. They don't seem to aggro on most wild dinos.
