Solo tame: build a 3 by 4 set of pillars with a space in between each, 2-3 pillars high with one end open. Place bear trap in the 'cage', and shoot thylo to get it off the tree and aggroed. Lead it through the 'cage and while it is stuck close off the end. Thank at your leisure and don't forget to watch out for everything else that wants to kill you.

When taming hop on back of wyvern to tame they won't agro you or climb ontop to get you , easy tame

If mounted on a wyvern, you can safely travel through redwoods, they won't attack you if you're Ima wyv. SAFE TAMING!

Just took one down , the beast wasn't even running , just looked at me and argue and slowly walked over so I just lit it up until it went down , and I never been so relieved to get off my argue when I realized It was walking instead of running ,

Personal strategy for taming these is to have a tree platform and snipe them from long range. If you get too close enjoy suffering a swift death.

To tame this cute creature just fly through redwoods on a quest and you will see them hanging from the trees and just pick it up and drop it into a taming pen P.S you can get cool mutations easy on this Dino

Easier to tame on scorched earth as they are easier to find and you can stand on rocks and should down at them

These creatures will jump off redwood trees and try to push you off your bird if he does that you are traped in him while your bird is still in the air but all you can do is attack while traped

Not to hard to tame but one hell of a beast in battle if u know how to use it

If you breed them near a huge tree in the redwoods they at birth they spawn in the tree.. and don't hatch them on the 1st floot aswell they can buggy through the map

I was taming a lol 100 and does messed me up and so I got 1% taming efficiency +2 levels but overall good tame to have in the arsenal

Make sure when flying at redwood that they stay on trees and jump on you and take you off your mount

1. Build a taming cage on the beach of Red Wood Forest.

2. Fly slowly checking every tree in the middle of hight from each side.

3. Attack from above to knock it of the tree.

4. Kite it to the taming cage on your bird.

Easiest method is to pick him up from above on Quetzal.

They like cooked meat more than raw which is bloody fantastic ?

If it isnt born blue, drop it in the volcano or sell to alliance

I use a 2x2 stone foundations and put stone door frames around it 1 high and it won't be able to get out

Easy taming tip if you're on scorched make two traps out of stone door frames drop a Thyla in one and Ovis in other if you don't have kibble wait for hunger to go down butcher the ovis and cook the meat only take 12 from the ovis using chainsaw then leave in fridge ready to feed

To tame, spot them on a tree then place down any type of bear trap and shoot it. It will run at you and get stuck so you can knock it out.

I live at the redwoods lake and I've never had problems with these cats, just be cautious while flying. Make sure u always look at the trees, the best option is just to fly higher than they spawn. If u tame a good one then u will have an awesome redwood mount.
