These guys can be buggy and mine won’t climb redwood trees. But if you get the right one, it’s aweesome

When trying to tame the thylacoleo you need a argentavis or something that can pick up a thylacoleo. Definitely bump up as much health on it as you can on it. build a 2x2 base with doors all around it so you can shoot it through the door frames. then grab the thylacoleo with your bird and put him in the little basebuild a 2x2 base with doors all around it so you can shoot it through the door frames.

I tamed one by getting it in water then climbing up onto a rock and using a long neck use a bow or boomerang or sling shot if your Lower level

Tame with either raw meat mutton or prime

So i’m chilling at a well protected, turret base. I’m watching a they’ll I want to tame, I get my stuff, and look up again. It’s gone. I go down to the ground. He tries to jump me, but I somehow dodge, and run back to base. It followed me, and well, I forgot about the turrets.

Lesson learned.

Another reason to take a bunch of hyaenodon into the red woods in case you get pounced they will destroy its face and gather a lot of resources from it.

Redwoods are now no fly zone stay high up so they can’t get you

If you see them its too late , i was happily going through redwood forest and BAM knocked off my pteranodon , pinned to the ground and murdered

I really hope these are added to Ark Mobile, if they are, I’m gonna immediately try to tame one, and if I succeed in taming one, I’m basically just gonna ride it around everywhere (except for the ocean.)

My absolute favorite tame, not only can it jump and climb very well, but it doesn’t take hardly any fall damage. A few upgrades to health and damage and you have yourself the alpha predator of the entire island. I just look for them on the trees of the redwoods, shoot them, and get them caught a bear trap or chain bola. Or get it caught on a rock at the mountain and shoot while it flips out at the bottom. Take with cooked meat and plenty of narcs. Ride that sucker into the sunset and kill everything in your path afterwards :)

does any one know why these creatures keep getting torpor when u ride them

When you have a argentavis (or quitzal)you can just pick them up and tame them safe

Beware the tree tigers...

Make sure your speed and health is at a higher level than the thylacoleo and have plenty of darts on you

Extremely hard to tame even for my dude who is a high level player!

Use tranq arrows on a thylacoleo because it will attack you and run away to leave you finding it for hours on end until you figured out you lost it

When Flying To The Redwoods Just Fly Above The Trees

The can climb anything. Nuff said.

I love to take mine into the water with me when I get pearls in rivers and shallow oceans. Whistle follow one and they stay with you under water. Just keep an eye on the oxygen level. Great easy and fast way to get pearls.

Always look at the trees... that’s the only advice I can give
