These guys have tons of stamina and are the best dino for exploring and they are pretty good fighters as well just be careful on island as they will jump on your mount and kill em as well as you also they have a high torpidity drain so keep that in mind while taming

Use a snow owls thermal vision in redwoods then once you find build trap then shoot him and kite him it boom easy tame

These vicious beasts now do bleed... Don't even try grabbing with an argy cause it WILL be torn to shreads, I recommend using a trap for it and tame it where it is q-q

Easy trap 9 stone foundations and small stone doorways. If you spot a thyla on a tree fly to its side on an argy you can snatch them right off the tree without being grabbed. Just don't be far from your trap their bleed will make quick work of a lower level argy. These guys do not run when torper is high so if you are on say genesis you can float right above them and just shoot them till down. Fast torper drain so be prepared before taming. The difference in effectiveness lost between kibble and cooked mutton is vast so kibble is prefered.

These guys spawn in the redwood forest by the swamp some are lured Down into the swamp by other creatures. It’s best if you use tranq darts because it’s faster and safer. Also they are faster than you are so it’s best if you build a trap. I hope you found this helpful and have a good day.

They are absolute beasts at everything. Jacks of all trades. And more.

They run faster than wolves and sabertooths, they have a weight stat that rivals rexes and mammoths, their health can be pushed higher than any wolf or saber as well, and can gather chitin/keratin at ridiculous amounts per kill, their damage rivals wolves and sabers, can knock down trees in 1-2 hits, they have what seems to be a nearly infinite stamina pool once levelled a few times, can climb any vertical surface in the wild and almost all built structures, can pounce from vertical surfaces to disable/damage mid to small-sized creatures, and can jump vertically, nearly 4 walls high making escapes easy; the list goes on.

70+ pelt per rhino. 70+ chitin per scorpion.

Just .. be careful. Be wary when you walk/fly into the redwoods.

Most of them that are in trees are low level. It only took me two shots in my acendant crossbow to knock one who jumped me through the tree

If you want to find these guys like crazy in ragnarock go to the desert biome with all the trees they are everywhere over there up so more people can see it

Should place a bear trap and then trap in a wall easy tame

To find these ün the Crystal Isles look for them in the areas that connect the desert and the biome that has hills and stuff. You can also find them in the redwoods but they are really rare there is a spot you can find like 2-4 of them in the desert but I forgot the cords. Just look at the connections between the desert an the other biomes.
