Super deadly mounts I have two of them. They’re pretty easy to tame compared to how many times you die to them. You just have to build a trap and you can leave gaps between each wall of the trap because they can’t fit through it, which makes it easier for you to shoot them down with train Trank arrows also it only takes 4 to 5 arrows and if you feed them cooked prime meat, you only need five the best way to do. It is to lower them in the trap and they’ll try to break it but they’ll stick their heads through an accident because they can get that through and then they don’t actually damage the trap and you can reuse it over and over. Make sure to have a bell moth Dino gate or a normal one either one works because they’re not that big but once you tame them, they will be the best one in the game. They can kill an Alpha raptor, no problem. Also, if you want to escape them in amount just fly above the trees and if you’re in the trees, minimum height would be 2/3 of the way up because they can’t climb the rest of the way but when you tame them, they can.

They can jump way farther than you think from their perch in a tree. Thought I could land near one to try and net it and tame but nope lol. Luckily you can fight back after they have you in their tackle hold, IF you don’t panic and sit there for them to shred you XoX

It does 5% of any creatures health so they can kill about anything in 100 seconds.

The Thylacoleo is a relatively strong creature and with its new buff and does 5% damage with the bleed. Good all around creature for traveling and damage but not boss fights. From personal experience I have at thyla with an OP saddle and with utilizing the bleed have taken out several low level Giga’s on official. Depending on how you use it, it might become one of your favorite creatures.

Usually find some in the redwoods. I would always die because I would always forget to CHECK THE TREES.

I got lucky flying through red woods and found a red one on the ground attacking an argy. While it was distracted, I shot it with tranc arrows and knocked it unconscious. I obviously named her Red. BEST TAME EVER!!!

If you’re wondering whether or not to tame them. Do it. Great for everything from pvp to caving tame a thyla.

If you’re near any thick trees, and can’t afford to lose your tame or inventory, just fly high above them. They’re really annoying when you’re not expecting them, but if you’re looking you can see them in the trees. You can always land your mount, shoot it with a crossbow, then kill with mount or narc it.

super easy to tame on scorched earth, im a dumbass and still managed to get two of them :) just make sure you have lots of narcotic, they wake up really fast

So what you want to do is get a sleeping bag or bed and get your flyer to a safe space then put your stuff in the flyer and after go find one and build a 3 by 3 trap with doorframe and make them follow you into the trap now idk if they fit through or not but yeah and then tranq and be safe .-.

If you want to build a trap build it with doorframes. They can’t climb up them.

This is why you should wear good armor and bring a good sword.

These are very rare in the island and can only be found on redwood forest

Tame a creature that u can shoot of the back slowly walk through the redwoods shoot is of the tree with tranquiler dart don’t use tranquil arrow you can kill it easily and set up a trap!!!!

The most safe way to tame thylas is go to crystals isles scorched earth and ragnarock where the spawn in the desert it makes it sooo much easier because they can’t rip you of your saddle I just moved to ragnarock from crystal isles today. So far on ragnarock I have tamed 5 in the space of about 4-5 hours yesterday I tamed two in the space of about 7 hours (on crystal isles) the day before I tamed 1 in the space of 9 hours so I got 8 in three days and the best plase to go for high level thylas in the savanna on ragnarock the ones I tamed today were all 130+ they are all great my best I got yesterday I named him Garfield he is 223 he has 10000 hp 664 melee 2000 stamina and is just a overall weapon I really need to get a better saddle because he is the best so he deserves the best I hope everyone finds there dream thyla like I did and I hope you enjoy the as much as I do:)

Usually spawn on the swamp side of the redwood is mainly where I see them

They are not running away when their torpor is close to be filled, so It’s not necessary to net or cage them. Use shocking darts for the fast KO, their torpor drain is high.
