What my friends do is we get electric prods from mantas and knock it out that way. Other way except tranq darts xan kill the thorny dragon.

Becomes a mobile smithy with saddle on. Most materials weigh much less on it than with other tames. The only way to make some ascendant equiptment is with a thorny dragon with high weight. Decently collects wood and thatch ( mostly wood.) collects hide, chitin and organic polymer well. If useing as a battle tame be sure to have a good saddle equipt. Its ranged attack if used in a group can knock other players out easily. With a 2 day egg to adult period breeding can be very easy for this tame.

Pro tip:This one are easy to tame if you stand on a rock with a boomerang/bow/crossbow/rifle(crouch when he shoots thorns to avoid getting tranq and falling into his very extremely dangerous gums)and throw/shoot at it, just go for low levels if you are being

They are mainly good for wood gathering on scorched earth because they have a 50% weight reduction and good gathering efficiency. Plus they are pretty easy to tame

These don't shoot darts like venosaur i get them mixed up myself they are instead used for getting wood not attacking things from a range

When you knock one out just give them meat and narcotics because it usually sometimes take 2 ark days to get one.A

Hunt a thorny dragon with a baby and you can tame the baby by imprinting on it

Thorny dragon the beaver of scorched earth with a much cheaper saddle these get wood thatch and meat for a battle mount these are gray for sneak attacks because of there short stature you can hide behind rocks and cliffs

If low lvl get this guy in a fight with the creative you want but make sure it’s strong enough to kill it so it’s knocked out Ora about to be ⬆️ For people to know

Sit on a high rock and shoot with tranq arrows it's ez if you can fly

I fail to see why Thorny Dragon Kibble exists when we mobile players cannot access Scorched Earth or any other map.

Semi-unrelated, but I also hate that Wyverns are not available to mobile players.

Makes a good early game meat collector but I wouldn't waste time doing that late game. Amazing wood collector, I suggest a few points in movement speed in case you run into a rock giant, but the rest should go in stamina and weight. Can also be used to deter enemy fliers, if you're using it for that level up melee damage and health
