Please give me a tip and a simple thing to tame it with please please bc i really need a tapejara

To the person that said tapejaras are the only way to solo-tame quetzals, you’re wrong. Argentavis can be utilized by jumping off of it midair, grappling onto the argy and using a parachute and whistling for the argy to target the wild quetzal. Another plus method for ragnarok and mobile players is just to use a griffin, as you can use weaponry whilst riding them.

I think what you should do is if you see one then get your bola out charge it and then run to it (tapejara has to be in ground) as fast as you can and when your ready throw it at it and shoot it with tranq arrow (bring food and bio toxin)

Warning I was revive taming one of these in a metal pen the pen was pretty big and made of metal doorframes I didn't bola it because I thought it's not necessary then somehow it went through doorframes and I lost errie tapejara and never saw again

Not sure why, but chain bolas don’t work on tapejaras, at least for me. I had a paracer with a platform saddle and a turret, which is what I shot the tapejara with a chain bola with. I’m playing on Xbox. Does anybody know why this is happening?

I see alot of folks saying how hard these are to get. It is simple as long as you are careful. USE A RARE FLOWER! You can lure them to an easy area and they are easy to bola when they are attacking you. Just be sure you don't got any big bad near when popping a rare flower. Happy Hunting!

If you don’t want to do the bola strat and want a bit more adventure, here’s my idea: take a grappling hook and latch onto it, then switch to another crossbow or longneck with tranq rounds, then open fire, and pray that you don’t fall into the jaws of a hungry Spino or Rex

How to tame, simple guide

1. Find one

2. Bola from a distance

3. Pump any type of traq into it

4. Feed it prime meat or if you don’t have it, regular meat

5. You have a new flyer! Enjoy!

Eat a rare flower to get it aggressive towards you so it doesn't run away. Just make sure that no other creatures are near.

Some people say this things torpor goes down fast but it dose not. I goes down so slow at least it dose on mobile.

If you have a quetz use it to knock one out the tapajeras are so annoying to find so get a quetz and a platform saddle then whenever you get close go up above the tapajera then shoot it with your desired tranqs they are so fast so it’s a little hard to catch them and they never land but a great tame nonetheless three seater fast can fly backwards and in all directions not very good for stamina and weight when tamed so put stats into those two. Do weight first then stamina.

These things are really hard to tame but here's what you'll need full ghillesute,tranqdarts or tranqarrows,biotoxin or narcotic,bolas if on console then agro with rare flower. Hope this lodout helps because I failed using it.

How to tame

1. Find one

2.have a flying mount so you can chase it

3.approached it while swinging bola when it looks like it’s about to fly it takes a second for it to launch up throw the bola shoot it once or twice in the head and then feed it preferably prime I recommend killing stegos or sarcos for prime meat and then about 10 narcotics the high the level the more these amount change

I am currently taming a tapejara and I used the stat calculator is that only for wild Dino’s cause I haven’t tamed it yet so it is a wild idk what’s happening

Don’t listen to the person that said use a saddled flying creature they will fly away if they see you or any ANY creature your using

1. Make a trap for flying creature.(With 4 stone Dino Gate Frames)

2. Eat a Rare Flower when you near Tapejara.(Make sure there are no any creature around)

3.When you eat the Rare Flower Tapejara comes to attack you(This is effective for several seconds). Then you can trap it and tame it.

(Wear a ghillie kit to get close to it)

You don’t need a ghillie suit if you can trick shot bolas from long distance

This creatures are not much rare but to tame them is really very hard, because if they see you they ran away so fast that you can't catch and if you caught them some how there will some carnivore creatures they will kill your tapejara very easily and you will only get is a meat of tapejara that's it.... If you really want to tame them you have find their spot if they are on the land. And call out your strongest creature who can kill almost all dinos by himself so that your tapejara is safe. And you can finally tame them. But pls soothing balm before feeding them food, because it takes a lot of time to tame them. And pls take atleast 5 spikewalls with you to keep them safe while feeding them food.

What I did was kill one, take the chip, revive it, bola and a couple tranq arrows to the head, feed prime meat, and now you have yourself a tapejara

You can tame these by carrying your friend on a pteranodon preferably with some nice levels into speed (if you have that option turned on ofc) then proceed to have your friend shoot it with your best taming weapon while you chase the tappy down until it is knocked out
