If low level bola and then toxicant arrow in the the head with crossbow to knock it out

Using rare flowers to lure them to safety is really handy, especially if they are really high in the air. Once they are somewhere safe I use the rare flower still to keep their interest and then bola them. Using a good longneck and getting headshots should knock these guys out fast.

Find an area that is crowded with things like trees and rocks,then find one and Bola it.Hope this helps.

Use rare flowers to lure them into a cage trap them in it tranq, tame and there you go easy tame let others know if you like it

mine was easy it had no stamina so it had to land so it could only fly for a few seconds before having to go down again that way it barely covered any ground

This bird is very easy to tame, yes easy i don't lying ok, if you want to tame this bird you come to the right place, ok to tame this bird there are eight thing to do

First : You have to prepare: food: meat, prime meat or kibble if you want to tame this bird faster and prepare a bio toxin or narcotic

Second: prepare a bow, crossbow, riffle or slingshot(rock) or anything that can make the bird unconcious.

Third. : Prepare a Tranq Arrow for the bow or crossbow or Tranq dart if you use the riffle

Fourth : Prepare a bola

Fifth. : Find the bird, i Will recomend you to search in Greg island, cuz i found some there, and tamed one there

Six. : Bola the bird

Seven. : Make it unconcious

Eight. : Give it meat and give it a bio toxin/narcotic if the bird unconcious reduce

And congrats now you have a tapejara

For those who don’t know, rare flowers don’t aggro animals on mobile. If you’re mobile it’s easier to just bola the tapejara while it’s on the ground and then shoot them with narc arrows, you can use a slingshot too but it will break out of the bola before you knock it out most of the time.

Ghillie suit,29-40 bolas long neck with tranq darts prime or allo kibble and bio to vine since it’s better than narcotics

Tip: you can actually eat rare flowers near these guys (if you get your hands on one or a couple) and they will chase you, it will be easier than simply chasing them in the sky.

First to tame, get ghille armors a bola and a crossbow and sneak up on it hit it with a bola and start shooting it with a crossbow and tame it with raw or prime meat (or kibble).

It's an easy way to tame quetzals.Just switch seat and tranq it,remember though thers a glitch where quetzals always run to sm latitude which I don't remember but it's in the swamp redwood area so protec sleepy quetzal

I bola this guy with only one bola and he’s a very nice tame and I killed a therizino cus of its ability to hang on walls.

I tamed my first one easily because it spawned in a big rock 😂

Build a dino gate trap and with a flyer on passive eat rare flowers til you get it in then shut the gates just bring alot of flowers and a flyer that can take a hit ran out of flowers and had to find it twice but easy as long as quick to close the door

Best for taming creatures not for killing

Forget all that faffing about with bolas, flowers or traps - this has NEVER worked for me. Instead, grab a high powered longneck and just shoot tranqs from distance. A 580% long neck takes down a 140 tape with two tranq darts - but caution, you can easily kill a low level, no head shots!
