Collect prime fish meat from leedscthis fish and feed tapejara it will take less time than prime meat or kibble plz like ^if it this helps u

Its really easy to tame a tapejara but hard to find and when you find one wear a ghillie suit or if you dont have resources to craft one just make sure you stay crouched trying to approach it and that its not near any predators because if it gets scared it will fly away REALLY fast so bola it as soon as you can then shoot it in the eye with tranqs.

I use my apprentice sword, but I think a bow would work, but if you kill the ducks,(hesporonis) they are a good farm for organic polimer, witch you need for gilie suit and sneak up on tapejar’s to bola them, because if you don’t they fly and they fly fast, and just a tip, I can’t remember what you need for gilie, but for any snow armor or anything with pelt, use hair with sissors

If you’re on scorched earth I found LOADS in the mountains near the red obelisk they’re really easy to tame with a long neck and tranquilliser darts but I couldn’t get mine to bola, have fun

If you really want one of these I highly recommended going to the floating islands in crystal isles map. I made a base over here and these things spawn like crazy. There’s also aberrant spinos over here too! I hope this helps those desperately trying to find one of these like I was!

If you eat a rare flower a tapajara will follow you to try to kill you and you can just tame him easily just make sure to beware of other dinos

I suggest using a pt and eating rareflowers to lead it to a trap

you can eat a wild flower, use ghili suit, or bola it. just be careful when eating a wild flower because it can attract other creatures

Easiest way is to build a trap, get an argent and eat rare flowers to lure it in the trap. From there you know what to do.

I can’t find a single one. I’ve looked literally all over the map I think ark has banned them from my game

For capturing it I find it easy to find one landed already and run with bola swinging and throw it at its head then shoot with tranqs easy capture

On the Center map, one spawns almost every hour on jungle south between 60,50 and 60,60 in the area right across from the lone island. I go with some bolas and tranq gear and scavenge around that area until one spawns.

If you go near them they run away

They live near the metal mountains

If you find one eat a rare flower and every passive or neutral Dino’s should come to attack you so make sure you are protected then just trap it in gates and knock it out ez tame a L bozo

On ark Mobile around the green Obelisk, I have never seen so many In my life. I’ve seen many cool / pretty colors of the Tapejaras. Around the green Obelisk on mobile, I have estimated I have seen 15 around the green Obelisk. I have found one by the river of the obelisk, and 100 meters away ANOTHER right in the entrance of the small jungle, MORE by the swampy, cross redwood and swamp areas. I managed to tame this the hard way. I used a pteranodon and brought and Tranq long neck rifle, keep fleeing. Finally managed to land in safe place, now I figured out it could’ve been easier ALOT with ghille, a bola, and some rare flowers that Argo it. I don’t know why but I tamed it easily the hard way, but wow, I have never realized there are so many and so easy to tame once you understand the concept of taming these, absolutely easy to tame and mutate it, breed it a crud ton and get a overpowered Tapejara With either high melee, speed, stamina, weight, whatever. A Tamer's Guide to Tapejaras

Step 1: Craft Bolas, 3-5 in case you miss.

Step 2: Gather rare flowers, about 10 should do.

Step 3: Get a good flight mount that can take some hits, like a pelagornis.

Step 4: Find the Tapehara you want and eat rare flowers while on your mount, the Jara will start attacking you.

Step 5: Fly to a surface, land, jump off and bola the Jara.

Step 6: Beat that mofo into submission. Easy way to tame the skittish Tapejara.

I ate rare flowers.it didn't aggro on me.i tried twice but it just flew away & disappeared it's a male one .

If you good enough you dont need ghillie suit or rare flower just get close enough without entering its range while its landed aim slightly above it and throw your bola then just club it unconscious and feed

Use ghillie, If your Pc or console(i am mobile) use cactus broth, crounch walk up tô It BOLA IT and KO or build a trap like bob the builder or flash as fast as possible

As i was making my base i just saw one, then i used a bola on it and blasted it with tranq arrows, bolas usually last around 30 seconds but me i use second one and so on so forth when it reaches 25 seconds
