Just shoot the dang thing in the head with a tranq dart/tranq arrow from a crossbow

If you chase it up too high, use an argy, put your argy on passive, charge at the tapejara and eat rare flowers to bring it back to the ground level for tame. One shot with a long rifle and shocking tranq dart will drop it.

Super common in Rockwells garden. Since Rockwells grden has lots of plateaus and tall cliffs/rocks, your best bet is to chase it until stuck on a rock and then net it while you KO. Considering RG is super hostile as it is I don't recommend rare flowers lol make sure to kill everything around as well after you've net it as you can't do it before hand cause you won't know where he'll land. They're super common in genesis but still a hard tame. Good luck!

I was on single player and one got stuck in rocks in a safe place so I thought I would just tame it because I rlly want one to tame, well then I knocked it out and gave it some meat and narcos so it would tame, but then I though it was taming too slow so I went to get some boost for taming and when I got back IT WAS GONE I WILL SAY THAT AGAIN IT WAS GONE AND THAT WAS A SAFE PLACE NO DINOS THAT COULD ATTACK IT OR KILL soo it just went to get milk like my dad :’)

Tamed my first. Low level. The high level pissed me off and kept running off and it’s fast bcuz afterwards I realized I was in my mount and not in ghille suit. Found the low level. Had my ghille on crouched and bola’d it. One tranq and took 2 allo kibbles (mobile) should have tamed them sooner. I’m gonna get that high level one next with what I know now.

If it flies up into the air and won’t land, use your argy to get somewhat close to it (don’t spook it) and use rare flowers. It will aggro onto you so you can lead it to a safe place to bola it and then shoot with tranq arrows or darts to the head. This is the easiest way to solo tame that I have found.

EXTREMLY JUMPY so bola it and punch It don’t leave it un guarded i learned the hard way (rip Tanya and ptravis)

Eat rare flowers, then Tapejara will not flee anymore. But it will chase you. Lead it to the trap you made already.

Use rare flowers to make it attack you then bola and tranq it

You have to bola it or it will fly off before you can even tranq it

Rare flower yourself. Aggro it. Lure it to trap

Were a guillysuit or it will run away

Simplist method will be to eat some rare flowers, bola it, then knock it. Simple.

One of the best ways to tame the Tapejara is to build a cage and get near it on a flyer. Once you are near it eat some rare flowers and it will try to attack you and follow you. Using this method you can lure it back to your cage and tame it in a safe and controlled environment.
