Can someone please tell me if is it the normal or Tek saddle what has the big bosster and gun on it up I normal or down for tek

I hated taming one of these the bola did not hit it but while I was finding a quetzal I found It i was like this is the perfect timing so I shot it with my long neck in the head and knocked it out I was like this is a miracle and tamed it instantly and I managed to tame the quetzal because of it tip: just go on a high altitude so the tapejara cant land and switch seats and whistle it to attack the quetzal and use a crossbow or a long neck make sure it has tranq bullets and shoot it (low level tapejara recommended) and make sure it's flying on land so it won't drown when knocked out and use 10× soothing balm and rex kibble (if you play on mobile) and you got yourself a quetzal thank me later

One time I was riding my gallimimus (sonic) and I saw a bright purple male (now named Jake) so I followed him to cragg's island so he landed I tried to hit him with a bola from far away but miss but he landed very close to me so I got him but a got chased by a therzinosaurus debut lured him to a cliff but he felled but forgot my raptor (John rip) was killed but the therzinosaurus drowned so I have zero raptors like for john

So I was looking for a griffin for my griffin and then I went looking for dodos and found a tapejara and it tried to fly away like they always do but I got the tapejara at the end

I once had seen a tapejara and I got too close on accident (no ghillie) and I turn around to my parasaur being destroyed by an enforcer (I was on extinction) R.I.P unnamed parasaur

Ok so I already have a Tapejara but I had been looking to tame a female since mine was male I finally managed to knock out a female and had some prime meat when I was attacked and killed by raptors when I got back after requesting my tapejara (since I'm on mobile) I was fully expecting to find the female dead I looked over the edge of the small cliff where she was KOd at next to the green beacon and found her alive at 50% tamed at 36 health out of 585

A good tip if the tapejara flys away is to eat rare flowers the tapejara will go argro and then you can bola it and knock it out! Its super helpfull for taming them!

Part 2 since the male was gone I went for the female I flew around looking for her until I found her she was panicking and flying above and lake area I decided to go and do other things and come back to see if she landed but when I came back she was gone I checked the ground I checked the sky she wasn’t anywhere to be seen I checked everywhere and couldn’t find her it’s sucks because I already crafted a saddle so now I’m just waiting to hopefully find one or wait for another to spawn

Currently taming my second one, I found out they are pretty easy to tame long neck rifle (master version) with darts. Generally one hit and its out cold.

Haven’t tamed the quartzs yet but it will come in handy as far as being a pack mule. My level 50 argy takes the cake but its close though

I have tamed five of these and one minute after I tame I am heading back to my base something kills it it is annoying I have a master craft saddle but nothing to put it on

Part1Ok so I was flying around on my agentavis and I saw two tapeharas that Spawned near my base one was a brightly colored male with pinks and blues the other was a dark colored female with blacks and greys I decided to go for the female even tho I liked the males colors more mainly because it was a female and I can get tapehara eggs but also it was a higher level I waited for it to land once it did i snuck up behind the female and scared it I threw the bola quickly but missed and she got away a was wondering why it got scared so quickly then I remembered me ghille suit broke so a quick trip to the snow biome later and I made myself three new ghille suits then I went after the male I snuck up behind him and threw my bola and I did it he was bola I quickly tranqed him and out food in his inventory I surrounded him with spike walls to keep him safe but I didn’t have enough so there was a small hole in it a minute later a raptor comes and kills my tapehara I got my pike out and killed it

So I seen one these guys right I got my bola threw at him nothing happened but then I remembered I tamed one but it didn’t follow me I thought he was dead I had a heart attack because I seen other people from a different tribe and the tapeajara was heading wright for me i was scared but then it said following Luke123456789 lvl56 and the other tribe were friends of mine and it the tapejara Was a lvl1 when I tamed it but I put it on netural and when came to me he had 269 levels for me to put into him like so people know never leave ur pet alone in ark pls don’t make the same mistake as me😊

So I was on a moutin I saw a giga and my Tapejara almost died and I almost died soon I got away that was scary

There is a glitch where when you log out of the game on the tapejara it will kick you off the dino and you will fall to your death. This has happened twice to me and I'm only figuring out how I died.

Had a 135 fly into my cave base but itself. Bola'd it and tamed him. Easiest Tapejara of my life

Me sees one and once one but is on different Island me is sad with no tames😭 I now have with 3 tames

Who ever said bolas work I hate you it made a tapejara run away and of course with my luck it de spawned
