When i'm was searching for one to tame 10 days and nothing 20 days found one level 7 and tame it next day I found 10 on good levesl 140-150 and I don't even bother taming another one because I wanna it only for easier time taming some creatures and I use PT for my main flyer so when you search you get after long time low level but when you not searching you get good level in few minutes

The first time i tamed one of these, it was only tamed because it was stuck on a tree and i had given up on my poor tappy because i had ran out of biotoxin (and yes, i waste them, like a LOT) but when i was returning from a metal run on a nearby mountain i found her fully tamed ready to be saddled and becomey favorite flyer of all times

I found like 4 Tapejara and I tamed them all and put tek saddles on them and now there op and I love them I am happy to have them :)

So the one i found was only level 50 but i wasn’t even looking for one, so fine with me, i noticed he was stuck i guess? flying just over shallow water and wasn’t moving so i took my chance and got him down, he never moved when i shot him either:)

I got so lucky with taming one of these guys! There are many in my island anyways, I was coming back from knocking down a brontosaurus when I saw a tape just chilling so I decided to sneak a peek from behind with a Trank and cross bow with the first hit, it started to fly into the heavens… but it got stuck on a rock so I shot a few and while it flew away it went conscious!!! I’ve been trying to tame one forever!

They are really common high up by red on mobile

Duude , i finally taned one and accidentally encountered a griffin i got scared a bit bkoz i didnt know that it can fight that time so i tried ... bruh tapejara can do dual hits per second!! Ngl really better than argy and ptranodon in mobile for me. Hoping to tame quetz aswell soon. Oh right i tamed mine near green obelisk like the others said use ghuille set first and do sneaky stance and throw bola you can just hit it with xbow tranq arrow one time and punch it i recommend to use a soothing balm with it bkoz so many raptors around green obelisk goodluck!

My and my friend were on Valgero and hunt for a tapejara. We found one we liked: level 88, anyway I use rare flowers to lure it into that castle on Valgero my friend got it with a bola then we both pumped all our shock darts into it, when it feel asleep we when to get raw lamb, when we came back the tapejara was in the floor with no was to get to it

When I was just casually playing ark mobile one day I found two of these things and I got very close to them , so close that I could've bola'd one. I didn't have supplies though and since they were close to my base I got my stuff and when I get there I couldn't get within shooting distance.

I tamed it with no bolas yes you heard me none I used just my crossbow and narco arrows because I can’t spell the actual name of the Arrow

I really use it now handy for taming killing and ect

If you want a good saddle for it you get a free Apprentice saddle if you beta the objective “Thin air” up if helpful

how I met my tapejara

So first I went to a close mountain and waited for one then once I did I chucked the bola whene it landed so affter that I put some prime meat in and waited a carno tried to kill it but my arge killed it then affter that he was tamed

It ran out of steam so it landed but on a therizinosare.Then I killed it then it almost killed me then I had to walk home.

I searched for this thing for 3 days I found it twice but every time I did it ran away I’m so sad plz give any tips for were to find them on the island

after I found a tapejara it took me a while to take it down after it got taken down a titanoboa decided to ruin it so it killed it while I was taming it:(

I found a lvl 10 tapejara I made it unconscious but accidentally my pteradon killed it now I am finding other

I saw one thinking it was a queztal and instead it was him and ran out of stamina over a forest and alomest got eaten

Is it me or is this thing common? I have seen 21 in one day of dodo rescuing (i am a Dino rescuer) I have 5 tapas! Lol like if this weird!
