I'm not sure but I saw alot of these things and didn't have much problems taming them

I guess they aren't that rare

Memories

One day I was flying around with my tapejara looking at all my old bases and I almost cry because of all the memories

When im not want to tame it its every where when im ready to tame it i cant find it

So I was taming a tapia and an argument came and attacked me so I died and I was going back to my tapia and I thought it was dead. When I got back to my tapia it was tamed so I whistled follow and I went back to my base.Now his name is Jet because he is so fast.

This thing was a real problem to tame, as soon as I get near that thing it will run away, then I had it! My only choice was to use a rare flower to get it to come close and attack me, I was on extremely low health but it worked! :)

So this just happened I tranqued a tapejara and go to get narco berries because you know narcotics so I get 6 berries and hear a dilo and a tapejara getting hit and I find the dilo attacking it so I try and hit the silo but it and the tapajaras hit boxes somehow merge so i kept hitting the tapejara and the dilo runs away I accidentally hit the tapejara and then it died and I killed the dilo with my fabricated pistol

I have one they are good for hauling a substantial amount of weight but that’s not all my tap has killed upwards of 7 rexs and is still alive I’ve died and it has been on its own so many times there fantastic mounts

These are amazing! No other creature can out manoeuvre them in the air. The wall cling ability has helped me tame a T Rex, a Raptor and a Carno. My beautiful girl fought off a level 10 Therizinosaurus by herself while I was taming the Carno.

I was trying to tame one but forgot about a spino that was around so when I left to get more narcos the spino killed it :(

If you have this don’t play around this could be your best creature in honesty this tapejara is a alpha killer u kill a alpha Rex with this tapejara.

I don't know what it does so I tamed It accidentally now I know what it does one of the best things I ever tamed.

One time I found one of these and thought it was some weird pterodactyl. I tried to tame it but it was very fast

As a mobile player, I used to own lots these guys. Now I’ve got Ruby, a female Tapejara with red wings, a red rudder, the fur on her back also being red, and her main color being black, and an unnamed Tapejara of the same gender that looks almost like her, but with her main color being slightly brighter. We were quite the colorful flock at one point. This might be all the names, might not, but there was Buddy, Sam, (I forgot the other female’s name), Obald, Evergreen (a male who got his name for his color pattern) and before most of them was Ruby, who is now the last member of the original flock. She was originally tamed as a companion to Buddy, although she almost escaped, and she was tamed not too far into the Redwood Forest. She has out-trained the others health wise. At one point, we could carry resources from the south cave en-masse beyond the inventory capacity of a single Tapejara. I think I even had to revive Ruby at one point due to a Spino, but I forgot. So I tame this beautiful white tapejara and name em headshot because that is how u one shot knock out one. So I fly around learn the mechanics of it and on my way back I'm dumb this is the second time I've done this with a flyer and headshot runs out of stamina right in front of the swamp. But swamp creatures dont kill headshot Raptors and dilos do. Luckily I had my one raptor one shot sword and I live. So i run into a spino luckily focused on something else. I run for my life and think how the heck am I gonna get home.

i found one of these a while ago, i thought it was just a normal ptera, but turns out to be something i have never seen. I shot it with tranq arrows and leave to get some meats, but then a dilophosaurus approached it and tried to eat it, i hit the dilophosaurus with my pike but accidentally hit the taperaja too. It died :(

Found one glitched in a rock, like 20 Trank arrows , add meat, tame successfully carries 500 pounds 500 stamina carries three people went to obsidian Mountain got attacked I died went back and found him.when home Parked him , logged off logged in raided, all dead.
