Had tamed one of these guys and named him tree because he was a tank....sadly lost him to when 7 raptors spawned nearby while I was out hunting and had forgotten to change him back from passive, from when I was trying to tame dinos. Lesson learned peps never forget to keep your bird on "your target", rip Tree you are dearly missed.

Ppl use this thing properly n u ll be able to take on a frkn alpha carno no kidding (I did it) but remember to keep on flying sideways and backwards

I found 8 tapejara but my dire bear and scaro kill it it was uncious and then they kill it so sad 😭😭

I was flying one into the yeti cave, didn't realize it was so tight. Me and my tapejara got stuck in the wall, I had to delete the world. RIP

I usually find 1 in the redwoods, 1 by the green obelisk and 1 by the mountain by the island you spawn at on survival evolved and the island beside it where there is another why to the swamp.

It’s good for taming just change seat tell it to follow you then it won’t fly back to ground get a DoDo arrow then you hit then it attacks make trap for it

Once I saw one so it just bolaed it and shot Trauq darts it fell the fed raw mutton after I was already prepared because I wanted one also I was on multiplayer so I went to my friends house brought a parachute he hoped on then flew to the height point and got off thinking ha he’s going to fall sadley he didn’t I try getting on my parachute… I DINDT BRING IT!!! AHH!! b*@&$

Where does the Tapejara spawn in The Lost Island?

These are a "rare" spawn, but I see them all over the eastern part of the island all the time. Just north of the east edge of and over the swamp (coastal/wooded area) in towards the redwoods; I always see 4 or 5 of them.... build a wall enclosure with fence foundations or some kind of walled taming pen for protection (I just set my dinos in my holding pen to passive and use that) rare flower them in with a flyer and land in your pen, bola, then starve tame them if you can... always parcers and brontos in that area for prime. Im taming my 6th (and highest lvl so far, 130) now.

Up this if you struggle hard to get a tapejara but you can’t so you have to wait a long while to get a quetzal so then your able to trap it.

Use dodo arrow, it will help you alot

Can be found EVERYWHERE on the island, at SUPER high altitudes, but a surefire way to find them on THE ISLAND, is to fly high above the smaller mountain in the redwoods, you should find a couple, or you could go fly high above the snowy river cave... I found both of mine those ways, they tend to be in groups of 3-4.

They spawn in the Bog on Genesis

Most of the time if you spook it and then fly in the opposite direction, out of rendering distance, it will aggro off of you and stop flying away, hint, another try to capture it.

They are week and don't have much health but can hold 3 people
