When I’m sad I like to fly around and see this creatures colors and all different types, makes me happy!

Find lots between the volcano and redwood biomes on the island... Picked up a pretty cool black and gold level 94 today just run up with bola hit it then traq with darts for lowest kill chance and make sure to keep all carnivores away from it... Or else it probably won't belong to you anymore

Spike Walls are a need!!!!!! Also beware of your surroundings

Tapejara are dund at green tower on the island.

On ark mobile I usually find them hanging around redwood or Volcano

these guys are absolute cowards, you could litteraly breathe and they would run with theyre non-existant tail between theyre stubby little legs! you may need to have caution when taming one...

Here's a tip that you can hang tapejaras in air and shoot from passenger seat without any driver because these things will land on the surface if you change seat to passenger without any driver:

Step 1: Set your tapejara to follow you.

Step 2: Set the tapejara's follow distance to low.

Step 3: Now get on your Tapejara and fly in the air.

Boom! You can change seat to passenger without any driver and shoot from air without getting your tapejara always land on the surface.

You can easily knock out any dino from the air without any driver.

They’re literally everywhere in the city on Extinction.

Why are they scared of you? Then it’s very hard to tame!

If you are looking for one on The Island, go to the little island on the bottom left hand corner. I found both a female and male and I have seen about five others.

They usually spawn at the redwoods but I got lucky and tamed one right outside my house which is at a river/plains

Fly really high in the air and then if you have a tribemate and a flyer grapple hook to the flyer and then bola it just make sure you shoot it at least once while its in the air so just in case the bola breaks you dont need to shoot it that much so it knocks also level speed weight and health for a nice speedy flyer with good weight and if you get attacked you wont die unless its like turrets if your on a pvp server or pvx and in the pvp area

I have found that they are EXTREMELY common at Cragg’s Island, which is the bottom southwest island at The Island, near the main river running through it. I have found more than one ever time I go there. Look for the small clearing on the right side of the river near the bottom of the island. There is also many easy tame animals there.

If you're on the island map, I find tons in drayos cove. Careful not to get killed by a therizinosaur or raptor. Surround a KOd tapejara with spike walls, and trap yourself inside with it.

You won't be able to see them near beaches, there mostly in places with a big amount of trees or the opposite, theres no trees
