So if you finnaly find a tapejara but its in a terrible area to tame or it keeps running from you, use RARE FLOWERS. By eating them it gets the tapejara to agro to you so make sure you have enough health to deal with the attacks. While the tapejara is chasing you, you can lead it to your base or wherever your ideal taming spot is. They will also not fly away but you need to make sure you have a ton of rare flowers or when the effect runs out, it will fly off and never be seen again :,D

I saw 1 but it was flying away it was a level 139. It was white in the wings, somebody tamed it The person that tamed it was our allies When the tapejara is tamed he killed me

Just bring like 10-15 bolas and stand a ways back and chuck bolas at it until you hit it and then you walk up to it and 360 noscope it in the face

Up this if you struggle hard to get a tapejara but you can’t so you have to wait a long while to get a quetzal so then your able to trap it.

I was flying and then a vulture knocked me off my tapejara and I managed to survive but my bird left me to die, the tapejara is still alive I checked the logs and everything but there is no sign of her

If you see one landing and you didn’t have a ghillie suit and only one bola

Well then hope you got aim from far range cause once they start running they will never be found again lol

Aim the bola a bit above the tapejara

Tapejaras are on mobile but they are rare

They are definitely a great option over a pteranodon as they are incredibly agile in the air as they are able to strafe and backflap

Use dodo arrow, it will help you alot

These are hard to tame, make sure you have plenty of bolas and tranq arrows, feed it meat if you don’t have prime fish meat

If you have a long neck rifle that is a journeyman or higher you can nock it out with out a bola

So u spend all ur time taking it BY YOURSELF and then u bring it back home (the trip is horrible) and then u log off the next day u can't find it u look at the tribe notes or whatever it's called and u see this: your giga was kicked off the server cuz of too high lvl

This is great for PvP, as it can function both a scout (upgrade stamina), or a living bomber (up carry weight and stamina), due to their saddles having 3 seats and the ability to hang on walls. Also good for taming archaeopteryx and Quetzals (if you have passengers).

Tame with bola it much better for taming

Rare flowers to lure it, bola to catch, tranq darts should be enough to knock it out before the bola runs out

1nd Run with a Dino fast and throw a bola on it.2nd way toss bolas at longer distances with ghillie set,if you can't,get closer.3nd way is to get all the creatures around its area f-u-c-k out,then consume a rare flower.Congurlations!You tamed a s-e-x tape.
