Don't try to bola it,wait till it labs then shoot it in the head for low leveled tapajarars.

Use a bola and trap it then tranq it, if it is a high level one I would use multiple bolas to keep it trapped while u tame it

i tamed mine on lvl 21

whiped out my bola

trapped it

knocked out with 2 tranqs to the head

raw meat and bio toxin (from cnideria)

Don't fıght ıt. Becouse ıt's good to tame ıt. You need a bola (Net wıth harpoon), tanq arrow. You throw the bola or shot wıth the harpoon. Then you knock out the dıno bırd. Shot wıth narcotıc stuff and feed hım wıth meat

A lot of people say that you need a flying mount to get this but all I did was chase it with a tranq gun and it went down with three shots

They are NOT affected by bolas

Once I saw one so it just bolaed it and shot Trauq darts it fell the fed raw mutton after I was already prepared because I wanted one also I was on multiplayer so I went to my friends house brought a parachute he hoped on then flew to the height point and got off thinking ha he’s going to fall sadley he didn’t I try getting on my parachute… I DINDT BRING IT!!! So if you finnaly find a tapejara but its in a terrible area to tame or it keeps running from you, use RARE FLOWERS. By eating them it gets the tapejara to agro to you so make sure you have enough health to deal with the attacks. While the tapejara is chasing you, you can lead it to your base or wherever your ideal taming spot is. They will also not fly away but you need to make sure you have a ton of rare flowers or when the effect runs out, it will fly off and never be seen again :,D

I saw 1 but it was flying away it was a level 139. It was white in the wings, somebody tamed it The person that tamed it was our allies When the tapejara is tamed he killed me

Just bring like 10-15 bolas and stand a ways back and chuck bolas at it until you hit it and then you walk up to it and 360 noscope it in the face

Up this if you struggle hard to get a tapejara but you can’t so you have to wait a long while to get a quetzal so then your able to trap it.

I was flying and then a vulture knocked me off my tapejara and I managed to survive but my bird left me to die, the tapejara is still alive I checked the logs and everything but there is no sign of her

If you see one landing and you didn’t have a ghillie suit and only one bola

Well then hope you got aim from far range cause once they start running they will never be found again lol

Tapejaras are on mobile but they are rare

They are definitely a great option over a pteranodon as they are incredibly agile in the air as they are able to strafe and backflap
