When sprinting (fleeing) they’re the fastest dinosaur in ark

When I looked these up people said they are very difficult to find but I find them all the time when I'm exploring and I'm not even trying to find them. (I play solo on the island btw)

I have been planning to take a tapejara for a while so once I finally worked up enough courage to do so, I’ve looked through a lot of these submits and I’ve noticed that people spend so much time just to find one, the second I went looking for one I found one, then I proceeded to tranq it, but after three tranq arrows to the head I killed it 🫤

In ark ultimate mobile, i tamed a level 15 Tapejara (HP 380) by bola it and hit with club to make it unconcious.

I used 3 prime meat to tame it. Each prime meat gave 40% taming, torpor is good, draining slowly. Easy to tame

I found this very helpful. You can get it at a fairly low level. The best part is, it never has to land! When the stamina gets low when flying, switch to the front or back seat, wait 15 seconds, and the stamina will be full again! This makes taming a lot of creatures (especially terrestrial creatures) very easy 1. Set it to passive 2. Get the creature you’re trying to tame angry at you 3. Fly to where it can’t get you and just trank it, and it doesn’t have to land

You can switch to the passanger seat (front one) and direct it to go on water, it will start flying and you can now direct it to the sky and it wont even use stamina and you can shoot! Up so other can see :)

You can eat rare flowers, then it will not fly away😂

If you want a thing that can carry a bunch of things but you don’t have the saddle for argy then just get this thing it’s a lower level saddle and it can carry about as much as a argy

When you ride the tapejara, you can fly forward, backward, and side to side. You can also latch onto things. (You can land on the side of things and shoot things while you do so)

Use rare flower to lure it into a trap.

If you're taming they do a thing where if they get high enough they wont come back down. Ever.

Have pesky ichyornises? Get on the tape's passenger seat then whistle attack then the ichyornes and it can't steal from you

If u spook it and it starts flying up, u better shoot it and get another to spawn in faster because they WILL NOT land ever again ( they probably will land sometime but when I first started out I punched one of these to try and kill it and to this day I still see it in the sky)

Usualy found between the swamp and green obelisk on valguero.

If you’re running low on stamina, just switch seats for a little bit then it recharges stamina.

Just hop on a flyer and eat rare flowers to keep it aggro at you and then fly it into a trap. Close the door behind it. Ezpz

These have got to be my favourite dino on ark:

1. They are decently fast flyers

2. They cling to vertical surfaces (great for all most any part of the maps)

3. They have a tec saddle

4. They can move in any direction

5. They can hold multiple passengers (4 including yourself a carrying a player)

6. They have an awesome pattern

I just got another on Valgeru and it looks like a volcano

It was pure luck taming my Tapejara. I was running along on my newly tamed raptor and there was this beautiful black and bronze Tapejara flying into two trees going nowhere.. so I just got off my raptor, shot it with some trank arrows and the rest is history.. her name it Lucky.

They tend to spawn around the green tower on island but all you need is a couple Bola's a few tranc arrows and be careful of all the rapers and snakes

Use rare flowers to get it out of the sky, then bola and tranq it. Works like a charm every time.
