This one is easy to tame but there are a liitle bit hard to find they are good tames if you want to tame quetzal first thing you need to tame tapejara are bola just start to use the bola far from it then run towards the tapejara then shot the bola make sure the bola will land on the tapejara then use traq darts attack it on the head wait to unconcios then feed it meat wait to tame then howala you now have a tapejara things i like about tapejara are you can bring 2 other person to have a ride so if you have friends you wont feel alone riding it but if your a solo player you can use the other 2 seats to tame quetzal

These guys are like an improved version of the pteranodon so if you find one and don't have one tame it!

Use a tapejara to tame it it works really good!

The easiest way to knock one of these guys out is build a gate trap (wooden will do) eat a rare flower and lead it in, put a gate behind, then bola for easy knockout.

Pretty easy to tame, grab a bola, if u don’t have a friend then wait for tpjera to land, then the fun part make sure you have at least 1/10 arrows depending on the level, ok equip bola and run up as close as you can, yeet bola from close range, then turn it into pincushion until it knocks out.

It likes allo kibble but the cheaper budget goes for prime, no need for defense just keep an eye out for would be predators, only carnivore that won’t attack if (unless I got lucky) is the Rex, the predators that will most likely try to ruin ur day, will be rapters, dilos, gigas, direwolfs, compys, make sure you have a decent weapon or plan to eithor lure them away, or dispatch them, (or tame them)! Why to tame they can land in trees and fly backwards

Tamed mine w/ two tranq arrows, my handy sarco and direwolf named Woof (for defense), and the wonderful miracle of it being level four so just shooting twice made it have 340 something health. You be like: you forgot bola in list of tamed mine with. I used NO BOLA NO GILLIE SUIT hopefully my tapejara is safe, also breeding bronto. Aaaaannnyyyyways, also meat: lots of it, like a stack (40) or more. Also starve tame. ALSO BIOTOXIN. HOPE IT HELPS

Can be easily found at 50-70 y-axis and 20-30 x axis on open grounds for sure

You can use Bola to catch and after knocking out wait for its food level To decrease after that give him the food and taming process will go faster

If you see one on land sneak up on it, ready the bola as you get closer when it notices you it will have this animation before flying off throw the bola above it, if you caught it knock it out with traq arrows or darts feed them prime meat or raw meat they are very good for travelling decent weight, they can regain stamina without landing just switch to passenger seat

These guys are really easy to tame.I tamed 2 of them in one day.😏

You can probably use dodo arrows to aggro it if rare flowers or taking eggs doesn’t work for you.

When u have trank darts for your longneck rifle one shot to the head should knock it out.

My process for taking these bois requires:

Ghillie armor

Bolas (2-3)

Tranqs/ tranq arrows

A tent!

Food

Find your boi and sneak up on them. Afterwards, bola it and place a tent over it. This will make them stuck. I then shoot the tranqs around the head and BAMM! You got yourself a nice boi. I didn’t even need to use a flying tame to catch mine.
