Tapejara can bypass the Genesis flier restriction! You can't directly ride it, but you can ride in a passenger seat. If the Tapejara isn't already flying, whistling it towards water will do the trick. It will also remain flying if mounted while following.

Pressing E on it like this will put you into the front passenger seat. From there, you can whistle "All move to" to direct the Tapejara.
