if your gonna punch it ko make sure to have high melee damage. if not just bola it every once in a while. make sure it doesn’t break. it a bit long tame, make sure you have good taming food

If they see you and they’re about to fly off, the bola doesn’t work. (Mobile)

Can cling to everything even the underside so Cantilever Platform and things like that

We had 2 people for this. One was on an argentavis and ate some rare flowers while the other was being held by the argentavis and used a bola on it when it got close. Worked perfectly. Scored a max level one on valguero by green ob

I found a lvl 70 and a 125 ( For me 150 is max ) near (kind of) the green Obelisk, as you come from the south where the river splits in 2, to the left is the swamp, go to the right until it splits again, that's where I found my 125, Also near the hill with a decent amount of metal on it to the south of the redwoods and swamp pretty much on the middle line I think, that's where I find them often

Use raw meat and raw fish meat it only takes about like fifteen to twenty minutes

Just make a stone dino pin like a 5 by 5 with a small dino gate find the tapejera you want and eat rare flowers and itll agro you youll need a strong flyer because other dino might agro you as well

It has technically unlimited stamina... Just fly and when stamina is close to finish just change the seat (make sure your tapejara is on following you otherwise it will land straight to land) and boom stamina regenerate in just few seconds. Just upgrade it to max speed and damage... You will have your best flyer dino... Better than argi if you dont want Smithy and pickup big dinos

They are super speedy so good luck catching it!

Shoot it with a dodo arrow (or whatever it's called) and it will agro to you, don't make the same mistake I did when I chased one of these things around a mountain multiple times until it finally got stuck and I was able to knock it out.

This advice goes for any fly able knock them out them build a building around them not essential but they can get away if wake up or they can be attacked

If you're having trouble getting one to sit still, you can use rare flowers to turn it aggressive.

Great for stealth raids I got in a issue but I hid in the leaves of redwood trees and sniped them off gigas and more

If you didn’t know, the second attack of the tapejara (the one where it stands up on 2 feet and roars) is actually a very useful pvp attack, if anyone is trying to pick you with a pt just do that attack right before they pick you and you won’t get picked.

Also the easiest way to tame this thing if it’s in the sky is to lead to the the volcano, if you lead it close enough it will land on one of the cliffs and then you can bola it and tranq it, these animals have low torpor like the pt so it shouldn’t take you much darts

Use a ghillie suit and a bola. Then pepper it with tranq arrows/darts. The ghillie suit makes thong so much easier trust me.

These guys can be hard to tame. They will flee if you get too close. Get a ghille suit. Do not get your dinosaurs close. Once you think you are close enough which is not that far, bola it, tranq arrow it in the HEAD. Bring more than one bola in case it breaks off the first one. Once it becomes more unconscious feed it kibble or prime meat. Otherwise have fun spending a long time waiting for this guy to eat all the raw meat it needs. Once you have him tamed, you have a new, agile pterosaur.

If you already have a tape, and you’re flying and running low on stamina, switch to the passenger seat and it will regain stam!

If you are playing on a cluster these become one of the easiest tames in the game if you have a rock drake. Simply turn camouflage on, walk up to the Dino and use a bola without dismounting from the rock drake. At no point will the tapa try to flee.

Set up 4 Dino gateways with a gap in the last one large enough for you to run through. Place gate at one end and equip other gate to hot bar. Eat rare flowers while on bird leading back to trap. Run inside trap, place door in opening, And proceed to tranq out
