Stegos reduce the weight of a stack of berries to 2.5

If you kill and harvest a tek stego with a wyvern you're likely to get 60 electronics each time.

These guys are small rexes. At high level they are tanky but kinda slow. Can be used to kill gamma bosses, if you have 15+ level 130+. Put hp to like 12000, and the rest in melee. (Maybe not 12000 if he’s small level tough)

You can easily raid a base with a bunch of turrets if you just yeet a high lvl stego out a cryo into their line of sight. Make sure you have it on hardened so it takes like literally half damage. Also tame a lvl 162 tek stego (tek variant of Dino’s have a chance to spawn at higher lvls than normal) and use it to soak anything and everything

They are great for harvesting Plants Species X seeds.

Easy tame even early game, because it's torpor drain is slow. The best way to knock it out is to walk backwards and tranq them in the head. They are slow and will not catch up.

The stegosaurus is the BEST for collecting berries use sharpened plate for better berry production

Stegos are one of THE BEST rideable tames if you know how to use them.

One of the best dino’s if you need some quick defense. The tail swinging can make it a nightmare for anything trying to get close along with the mode swaps makes it a good pick for an all rounded harvesting/defense for beginning a game.

Also, on my bloodstalker one of these, I had said that you can't grab small creatures, well, I was wrong, it's r2 on a viable creature

I just made a 2 x 1 stone trap with wooden ramps on each side, shot the stego once, lead it into the trap, and shot it in the head with tranq darts amd rocks, and tamed with mejoberries (i couldnt make kibble because i was in a new map ☠️)

Great for gathering wood. If you hit c while riding it it will change modes. When you change the modes of it then try to collect wood when you find the right mode on it you will know.

Make sure to have enough stamina to get away from its strike if not able to find a suitable rock clump

The easiest way to tame a Stego is to unlock tranq arrows (level 21) and find one level 20 and under and short it about 5 times then it will run away and be knocked out also be on top of a rock

KO (180+ Tek Stego) And wait a good couple mins and feed Regular Kibble 38 on 1x and have urself a awesome Dino

I tamed one that was level 110 if you see one that high in level don't do It unless you got 300 something health like me and I still almost died so don't try to tame it have ascendant longneck rifle

If you are on mobile and don’t have access to kibble, use rock carrots and a soothing balm. Trust me it goes WAY faster.

Be careful because if there's a group you might get attacked by all of them
