Try healing tame if low on health

Just use a net projectile in a harpoon weapon and then it’s soooo easy

i’m playing on extinction and i went to get snow owls and it took forever to find one so i settled with a lvl 65 which isn’t bad but not great, anyways i built the trap (4 gateways 2 gates) and i just couldn’t get it in the trap so i just used my argy as a tank/target and loaded it with tranqs, so if your struggling to get it in the trap and you have a high health dino with you just use that as a target for the owl while you knock it out

When trapping these guys, you're gonna wanna have make 4 stone gateways and out them really close together, because these guys can just fly right out if you space the gateways out. A ptery will work fine for trapping it.

In a boosted server where you can pump a horses melee and get instant knock outs, don’t do this with the snow owl! I tried on my boosted server and the snow owls are way too fast and very quick to fly away the moment their torpor drops. You want to make a trap for this one like the argentavis.

Get a good high health animal (preferably wyvern) and let it attack your tame as you shoot it with tranqs

Arrows with poison even a Good thing to get it

Be warned snow owls will go crazy and fly wild and attack you and anything around really, and if your lucky you can tame it with the tek bow and element before it kills itself. So you can make a small trap with with bars and door to keep safe but you have to lure it out n there.

Honestly these guys arnt as hard as ppl say/make it seem they are to raise, I’m raising up 7 currently that hatched one after another along with a ton of other meat eaters and i haven’t had not one issue as of yet. Mamas or any other great meat getter makes it easy as pie

When breeding they only eat 2 at a time now

Has a smaller frame than an Argy so build a trap with that in mind. Very fast tame once it's sleeping.

Its a better argy that doesn’t have weight reduction. tame it, cryopod it and transfer or just download if that works

LISTEN if you have a snow owl but don’t want to cross the map then make a stone 2x2 and put like 3 or more air conditioners in and incubate at night when coldest, so you can do whatever during the day. Trust me it’s a great schedule

It can fit thro a one space gap

here's a tip. Mae wings are great for nursing the babies there so difficult! Just give it to the Mae wing and set it to nursing thingy! Hope this helps with the bavies

It gets a 400% movement speed buff when bred

To tame use a argie trap. I used 6 stone Dino gateways you could probably use 4 but I haven't tried. 2 gate doors, it worked pretty well but get it trapped then kill everything in the area so your owl won't die or lose t.e and that has happened before. Hope this tip was useful.
