When raising they tend to eat alot more fish meat stick with raw meat or ull be filling troughs every hr

For Gen2 boss fight, tame 10-15 of these majestic creatures and a yuty. Get them some decent health and attack. Hop on your yuty with the Shadowmane’s on follow. Keep them on “attack your target” through the insane cave battle. Once in boss arena, proceed all the way to the main door. Turn off follow once they are all passed the back door. Once the back door closes, sealing you in, that’s when you want to whistle aggressive! Roar buff them as they charge through and start attacking everything. Then sit back and watch them destroy the tentacles while reactivating the roar buff when needed.

You will occasionally need to hop off the yuty during different phases of the boss fight so turn on the yuty’s auto roar for those parts but for the most part just stay on the yuty and keep the Shadowmane’s buffed.

Taming a lower level shadowmane as a first carno, not a bad idea. Less feedings, still really good for a few missions (stryder). As you level up, so does its armor, at least until maxed. Hope this helps.

Really fun Dino with there teleporting ability’s and the ability to turn themselves and other dinos invisible. Although that’s only female what has the ability to turn other dinos invisible Perfect for all terrain. Perfect for all terrain amazing swimmers so stick on your scuba and get those red drops at the bottom of the ocean Just be careful

These are super convenient for chasing players, as they can teleport to and stun both players and games using their lighting dash ability. This ability can also be used to locate some player if your eyesight is as bad as mine.

Here's a trap idea build a 2x2 foundation build a 1 high door frames and fill the roof with hatchs and build 2 high walls and add stairs to get up once shadowmane is in stay in the middle of the hatchs and wait till its feed able it is a easy simple trap and it works 9/10 times its brilliant

The shadow mane have a tracking ability like the dionychus but instead of jumping it teleports instead

The males have a charged jump, a dash attack, an attack boosting roar AND the ability to cloak, however this is limited to themselves and significantly lowers your speed. The females also have a charged jump and dash attack, but their cloak ability also hides friendly creatures that are nearby. Both, I think, have a stronger attack that has to be charged by normal attacks. You can they’ll this is ready because there will be a glowing aura around their front feet and mouth.

Both male and female have invisibility, on console it it the thumb stick, males will roar only with mate boost.

Ok, you have to cheat, BUT, they’re in Ark Ultimate Mobile Edition if you spawn them in!

Keep in mind it’s $25 Canadian to get the god console in order to get these cheats, but they are awesome! Also, DO NOT GET THE GOD CONSOLE IN ARK ULTIMATE MOBILE EDITION ULTIL THEY FIX IT! Seriously, my game crashes every 7 minutes on a good hour. Rip the time I spent getting the Desert Titan. I had to restart THRICE! Ok twice technically. But it kept restarting every time I made it home after the second time I got it!

But yeah if you’re ok with that happening and you have the money then totally! Pretty much anything free in genesis part one or two is now available to spawn in! So it’s great! But slow.

When I tame of these for the first time in single player in ps4 when I was going back to my base I glitch out and got a error too they should fix ark in ps4 I keep gitching and it restart my data it’s so annoying
