Both male and female can turn invisible. However, one can transfer invisibility to ANY friendly creatures. I believe the female. -Syntac

Since Shadowmanes have eight attacks/abilities, let me walk you through how to use them on a Playstation!

Primary attack: this one’s easy, press the right trigger.

Teleport/lightning attack: double click the left trigger near a creature.

Teleport attack (with radar ability): hold the left trigger down until a target is found, then press it again.

High jump: hold down X until crosshairs appear. The longer you hold the higher and further the jump.

Camouflage: click the right joystick.

Charged attack: hold down the right trigger. (You can only use this attack when the bar at the bottom of the screen is full and the shadowmane’s eyes are glowing. If you deal the final blow with the attack, it will automatically recharge.)

Roar pack bonus (male): double click the right joystick.

All tame cloak (female): double click the right joystick.

This creature is the crown jewel of ark creatures, as it is fast, strong, has good weight, can take a hit, and cloaks and swims incredibly fast. As well as everything listed above, they have a dash attack that hits multiple targets, and gets a crazy mate boost. There more, but I’m tired of typing how good shadowmanes are🙂

When it's low of health you can send to sleep and it recovers their 50% of health

You can replenish the timer on the filled fish basket by putting it you tool bar and standing in any body of water.

Both male and female can cloak themselves, but female can also cloak all dinos in an area around it, while the males cannot. The males can instead give a courage effect I imagine is similar to Yutys, but I don’t know for sure. Both male and female also have a powerful charged jump, and a dash attack where they teleport between a group of creatures and damage them, and also stun them for a couple seconds

These fish kitties are the most op thing I’ve ever used. They are fast, semi-aquatic, have natural armor, don’t need a saddle, can teleport behind creatures and stun them, they can turn invisible, females can turn any friendly creature near them invisible when mate boosted, males can do a roar buff when mate boosted, they get a crazy pack buff, can do a super jump and they can charge themselves to do a super attack by hitting creatures. Also they don’t lose taming process for several days. A pack of strong, imprinted shadowmanes with skilled riders is basically unkillable.

So if you are throwing out a ton of dinos out of pods at once and you have a male and female you can roar and it’ll wake them up instantly. I use for babies when I raise with maewings

Pro tip: they won’t sleep at night

So if you want the multitool of a pve, pvp monster dino here you go. Need to kill an alpha, Shadowmane, need a fast meat run use a shadowmane, need to kill a fast player shadowmane, kick a player off tame shadowmane, get drake eggs shadowmanes can jump, need to bait a creature with a fast tame shadowmane. Need a yuty for a boss, nah shadowmane, need a easy getaway dino shadowmane, need a boss army breed shadowmanes.

The female can turn invisible and turn other shadowmane’s invisible too. The male has a roar that buffs dinos

While tamed you must have a male and female present sharing the mate boost to allow the female to share the invisibility! I tried when I only had the female and it didn’t work!! Didn’t want anyone wondering why they only have a female and it won’t share the invis!! Hope this helps!

These things have a drakes invisibility a spinos water buff and are better than rexes for bosses

The male shadow manes roar only boosts attack, defense, and speed on other shadow manes and boosts torpor and stam regen on other dinos, so dont use shadowmane to replace yutyrannus unless you are only using shadowmanes, up so people know

You can make fish baskets in Fjordur. In the biome where they spawn in Asgard, hit the small white orb looking bushes. They give corrupted wood.

Shadowmanes can be found in the purple forest in Asgard.

Both genders can go invisible, they have a super jump, long distance teleport jump, bite attack, and a zigzag lighting dash attack. Females can make nearby allies go invisible, and they are part fish so they don't have an oxygen bar. You can only tame them while they are sleeping. You need ghilie, dead fish, and dumb luck. Feed them, move back slowly without taking your eyes off it. They only spawn in Rockwell zone on Gen 2. Hope this helps!
