The females are the only ones that can cloak. Males give a buff to other shadowmanes. Also, males have bigger manes... or are they frills? What are the spikes on a lion fish called? Anyways, my advice is to use a male and a female, as they will boost each other, as well as mate boost.

Both can do a teleport dash and we assume they climb, the females have less pronounced head frilles and can cloak you and your allies, the male can breed.

If you don't want to wait for the fish to get inside the fish bascket you can place a wooden Cage on the fish and place the bascket near it

Why isn’t this labeled as aquatic? They are just as good (if not better because of water buff) in the water than on land. Also, they can stay underwater forever.

One of the best guys for water, is even faster in water than on pad and has no oxygen stat!

The male gives friendly creatures nearby a buff, The female is able to cloak surrounding friendly creatures.

They get Spino's buff while in the water, swim fast and can breathe underwater!

It looks like this big murder fish kitty has some sort of bleed effect when it hits a target a certain number of times but instead of a bleed it’s like a pinkish firey aura that looks like it has the same effect as a bleed or a burn.... I’m not too sure, still, this makes murder fish kitty here OP

Everyone thinks that the male roar is similar to the yuty roar! It is not, Roar Boosted allies recover 50 Stamina and Torpidity per second, and have their speed increased by 50%. Roaring Shadowmane (and others if they're extremely close) sometimes get a second buff (even if roar fails) that further increases Melee Damage for 5 seconds. All of this found on the wiki

Genesis 2 will have the biggest map bigger than ragnarok or crystal isles

Idk what I did but I somehow toggled it so I can unlock stuff that’s on other maps on fjordur. I got the deinonychus saddle even tho I never played whatever map it’s on, and I got the fish basket even tho I don’t own genesis. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone know the controls for console to use this dang thing. I don’t know how to use the buff roar or multi invis.

Maturation rates on official seem to be faster than what dododex is saying. I'm on 1x and my shadowmane have been keeping a 3%+ pace over workers every 2-3 hours. My official shadowmane is now 18% more mature than what dododex is saying.

Question : If you see 3 shadowmanes and kill 2 will the lone one go to sleep? I did it and it wouldn’t sleep so it just confused me ^^

Males always are pack leader i saw a lvl 110 female and a lvl 20 male together and the male was packleader

Males have a charged jump, a dash attack, an attack boosting roar and a cloak ability limited to itself. Females have dash attack, charge jump and a cloak ability that works on friendly creatures around it and itself. They both have the ability to make a stronger attack after attacking normally for a while. You know this is ready when they get a glowing effect on their feet.

This may help people but there is a bar down below your tool bar the more you kill the higher your damage is and hold the jump button makes them teleport jump
