Hares how to tame one first unlock the tranq arrow which unlocks at lvl 22 then hit one with a tranq arrow make sure you bring like 20 or so their kinda slow on land don’t fight them in the water keep shooting with tranq arrow till it sleeps the put at least 40 meat in it is easy to get meat and make sure to bring narcotics and after it done enjoy your new monster.

The sarcho is a really good early game Dino I know cuz I’m early game but it needs a lot of space to thrive in and just like really crocs and gators they’re fast so go on a rock and tranq it out with arrows or darts hoped this helped

These are super strong beginner tames all you need to tame one is a bow and tranq arrows because of their high damage. If you see one I’d recommend just running if you’re a begginer(two of these killed and destroyed everything I had when I started in single player) if you’re taming one lure it away from other creatures and water fisrt then just walk backwards and shoot and if it come close just run and reset.

Every time I try to tame this guys I end up dead or the sarco ends up dead but still rip doduo

Easiest way to tame one before level 20

1 Get a slingshot and over 25 stones

2 Find a Sarco on the beach and get it to chase you

3 Walk backwards and shoot it with the sling shot

4 Name it Socks

I have lost my gallimimus because of a sarco. I trusted dododex for the narcotics count. The sarco woke up an killed me and my Genral G. One ^ for General G

Once tamed, his food bar runs out sooooo quickly so be sure to put a lot of meat in his inventory :)

Personally my favorite early game tame, it can go under water and swim decently fast, and do very high damage. An easy way to tame is to make a simple 2 by 4 out of wood with door frames. Pick up one door way lure him in and run out a door way. Replace the missing door and tranq it and you got a sarco.

If you tame sarco from clever cave than dinos won't attack you if you don't believe me just try it yourself

Just bring a lot of narco berries and a lot of raw meat and fight it with a wooden club while running around it. Now I have Sam on mobile.

Easy to tame as long as they are on land.

Try to lead the creature out of the swamp before attempting to knock out and tame the sacro

This could actually be your first tame, just make sure it's alone then punch it from the back and it will try to turn around, just keep moving and try to be behind it and keep punching, it can't hit you, i was just messing around in a new server and i saw one of those i was going to leave anyways so i went to it from the back and kept punching it and it couldn't even turn and hit me and make sure you keep it away from water

TAMING:

Great thing about Sarcos is their wide turning range, so easiest and cheapest way to tame one is running and shooting back with tranq arrows. On mobile, highly suggest getting an asc bow and arrow from the dilo hunt pursuit. WARNING: Sarcos are kinda fast, so prob best to jump and run while doing it. Once knocked out, best to do it at night so you can grab a sleeping bag to sleep and get its food drained, then use a soothing balm to get it quickly! How I easily got a 150 sarco

UTILITY:

It’s definitely great for traveling in water, and with its rather high weight you can steal beaver dams with ease and swim away quickly, or kill them since they have rather good melee and health. It’s great for its piranha scaring ability and turn on the spot attacking, but can get annoying when a creature is too close and you can’t hit it

It's an easy tranq tame just keep your distance and stay away from water, they're slow on land

The best place to find sarcos is on the south zone where they usually spawn by themselves

For taming these guys I would suggest getting it onto land as they are very slow and u can outrun them easily. I would also recommend using tranq arrows or tranq darts

Easy mid or early game tame. All u have to do is lead it away from the swamp hit it with a few tranqs, keep it asleep and shove meat down it’s throat. Also not dying to kapros

Just keep a slight distance away and shoot narco arrows into it's head. If you upgrade your movement speed some (idk how much exactly), you could just keep walking backwards to keep the sarco from reaching you since it never runs on land (at least none of them ever did for me).

You can use a crossbow from its back even when submerged, so it's a great mount to safely tranq other aquatic creatures.
