These guys can be found on the shores and in areas where rocks are plentiful (albeit rarely) and occasionally in the jungle areas (provided the alligator is near water). Just don’t search for spawn areas for the swamp trying to tame it as you will most likely die there if you are new. Just keep running in a circle at its tail with a bat so it can’t bite you, continually hitting it, and it will eventually get scared and try to flee. But give chase anyway (this might be hard if you haven’t upgraded your stamina too much). Other than that, it is an especially easy tame, and very reliable when tamed given its damage capabilities, especially to new players should they manage. Once knocked out just hunt for dodos to feed it and force-feed it narcotics if need be. If you can’t find them in the beaches, rocky spaces or jungles and your near water, don’t give up, just keep looking. However if your a more advanced player then gaming them in the swamp shouldn’t be too big of a problem.

My dudes just bring flak (hide works if you are low lv ) 20-30 traqs darts stim berries health brew and a metal axe and pickaxeand camp fire then go to swamp and tame a whole pack (ps kill titanboas for prime meat ) speeds up taking and camp fire to cook some food

They spawn in the little cove area on the most western spawn area. Watch out

Can WildCard add path finding as my sarco is always getting stuck on rocks

Okay so I was walking one day with five meat in my inventory. The “dangerous area” sign showed up and I saw him. A sarco was standing right there. I had no choice but to fight it. Surprisingly it was easy. Only half of my health was taken. I was only level twenty so I recommended this for a beginner tame.

If you want to tame one it’s not that hard if you bring the right equipment. You should have 7+ narcotics and 70+ regular meat (40 for tameing 30 for hunger) and 7+ tranq arrows

People keep saying to trap them or something like that but you just have to get them stuck between a rock and a tree

You can easy just stand on a cliff while they fail to climb up. They don't drown when you knock them out in water. Another alternative and !y favorite is standing on a paracer, bronto, or diplodocus and shooting it from there.

It’s turn radius is bad. Get up close and make it turn, then, KO it with the weapon of your choice (club, slingshot, etc) they prefer fish tho.

Mutton taming on 2x stats are off. Says 18 mutton coming out with 70 bonus levels. Took a few more pieces and only came out with 68 bonus levels. Not off by much. But still off

Lead it up to land far from water the shoot it with slingshot or crossbow if you do lead to land when it’s health is low or tor it go’s in water and you’ll never see it again

The kibble recipe is wrong, its not simple kibble its regular that the sarco prefers

I tamed 2 Sarcos for Steve Irwin

There is one of these near my base but not near a swamp... I want to try and tame it but it managed to kill a wild Trike so I’m not sure... can someone help me plz? I’m only level seventeen but managed to take a Pachyderm, Parasaur, two Dilos and a level 80 Trike.. Advine anyone?

You can tame them pretty early on in the game and it’s a great asset to have. Make sure you bring a fast moving dino and a bunches of narcos, meat and rocks. I’d recommend bringing at least 45 to be safe. Make sure to stay ahead of it, the bite is deadly. Also, keep it away from the water, so it can’t flee quickly. Feed em up with meat and narcos when unconscious

Shoot it’s tail and use a fast tame to distract it

I would get to a rock and start shooting tranq arrows. Once knocked out kill Dinos that are carnivores! It's good in water too can kill megalodons in the water!

Faster in water than on land, So use this to get Some sea tames.
