How to knock out a scaro in 4 simple steps

1. Build 2 or 3 clubs (2 or 3 because 1 or 2 will break)

2. Equip them in your hot bar

3. Attack the said scaro and make sure to stay away from its head stay as close as possible to its belly

4. As long as you stay close to it’s belly it can not hurt you because it turns to slow and is way too long

If you run in one of these jerks, try leading it to a carbonemy (giant spikey tortoise) those will kill it.

Sarcos can be easily outrunned by most things in ark, including players without boosted speed. Just don't go into the water....

Surprisingly easy to tame or kill, just:

Run up to it with bat or whatever

And STAY between the back legs and tail while hitting it

(Beware it use almost all of a bats durability)

Then feed fish meat to tame

Everybody says that this guy isn’t good on land but if u do the death roll and lunge than u can collect hide so much easier. Arrow to the sky

1.) Get harpoon launcher and net.

2.) Find Sarco.

3.) Net the Sarco.

4.) Shoot it with tranqz & knock out.

5.) Feed it prime meat or fish.

6.) Enjoy your new best friend.

For any new players don’t listen to people saying “make traps” just get a sling shot and if it’s to high level for that tranq arrows and your set

Last it run after you on land (and I recommend you to use a crossbow)and then shoot it with tranq arrows . The best food in my opinion is raw prime meat and raw meat. Try that and see if it will work.

How to kill early game:

1.tame a dilo

2.level up to 45 or higher

3. Whistle attack

P.S, lvl 45 dilo can kill a level 20 sarco

Dealing with Sarcos to a brand new player can seem like a daunting task, but they have a noticable weakness that can make them easy to knock out for taming. If you can get to it's side, closer to the tail it can't hit you. You can use this fact and a wooden club to take them down and feed them fish. This is also a solid method for killing them outright.

If you spawn at South if you head to the right (depending on where you spawn) You can find these guys among a few friendly Spinos

If you are looking for an easy way to tame these early game. Get it to aggro on you, dodge the chomp as it comes for you and then go to one of it's back legs. As it tries to spin to get you, follow it's back legs and punch, tranq or club it until it goes unconscious🌟

Okay, so in my experience having a Sarco near is an issue, but if you have at least 3 trikes the trikes can kill the Sarco easily. (Even wild trikes will ambush Sarcos.) The trikes will mainly win! And you can take all the loot for yourself. :D

Use fish meat or prime meat dose not matter fish meat saves time. And don’t use bad language.

I live on a raft, so these things worries me. First encounter with it on my raft was when me and my friend was sailing along the SW area in Crystal Isles looking for Silica, 2 of our Parasaurs on the raft got absolutely obliterated. At that point I realize why people enclose their raft, and make sure it's stone at least until the second floor of your raft, they can lunge, not as big of a lunge like kapros, but they can.
