Sarcos are the best water mounts when you factor in accessibility (how easy it is to get) fast as an ichy in water and extremely strong , to tame, walk backwards while hitting with the club

Step 1: if you see a Sacro nearby prepare any weapon that is melee Step 2: run up to it and make sure you stay on land NEVER DO IT IN THE WATER Step 3: allways move circles and stay the side of his torso and keep smacking it Step 4: if you keep going in circles and avoiding the front of its mouth you have more chance to survive AND beat it Step 5: let your pets eat his junk.

For beginners, don’t be super scared to tame it! I was nervous my first time trying, but it was honestly really easy. I hit it three times with a tranq arrow (on a crossbow) and it started to run and got stuck on a rock lol, then I just finished it off with my wooden club (my crossbow broke after three shot lmao). They are slow on land, so you can just shoot and run as long as there aren’t any other bad Dino’s around. Good luck!!

For all the new players It takes about some Tranq arrows bc I don’t know how many it takes but when it falls down don’t shoot it or you’ll kill it I gotta say DONT let it attack turtles unless it has high health melee damage etc also keep in mind these things are fast in water so I recommend you tame it on land then water

Piranhas won't go near Sarcos, so crossing infested waters with own of these will keep you safe

Definitely tame one they are so fast in the water they outrun A megaledon like nobody’s business

Fast swimmer early to end Game mount. Strong if its attack actually hits. Turn radious sucks however and doesn't take much to kill. If taming tame a higher level one.

these are soooo easy to tame guys. Sure their bite packs a large punch, but literally on my second day I saw one and used a hatchet to get him low on health so he will run and a club. They are HORRIBLE turners so just sneak up one from behind and wack it. Slow tamers, but the tapor drops really slow so just get a bed and a lot of meat and sleep by him. I have done this. Btw if u have no meat and the topor is low give it narco berrys. They don’t eat them on it’s own but u can still shove some up it’s snout. Hope it works! Bye

The best thing to do when taming these things is to do hunt dilo pursuit. Get the ascendant bow and some tranq arrows. Then kill salmon and harvest with a sickle. Finally shoot the sarco with tranq arrows and feed it prime fish meat.

They are really easy to kill early game for some good exp. First off, try to juke it until you can get to its side. Next get just in front of the back leg (or around the tail, but it is harder to hit.) finally, hit it till it drops. I recommend like 6 stone hatchets of it is a high level. I lost my sinomacrops, ship, and dignity to one. Then I killed it using this method. ( it was lvl 150 if you were wondering) HOPE THIS HELPS 😁

These creatures are honestly amazing tames, but can be hard to knock out especially considering there biome where they are found in.

STEPS:

You need tranq arrows (obvi) depends on the lvl anywhere from 1 - 50 usually takes 1-35 arrows, check dododex (for level and resources)

These guys tame well with normal raw meat but they prefer raw prime fish meat or raw fish meat it will save you 1 hour so kill fishes,

Next: you need to find them, sarco’s usually live in swamps which makes it harder to tame them, but if u wanna avoid killing every swamp animal and possible death, you can find them in south zone 1 or 2 easy on the beaches or shores near oceans, usually around the middle areas.

Narcotics: you need near to none, even narco berries would do, a level 45 sarco takes around 30 minutes to even lose a significant amount of torpidity, basically these guys are HUGE sleepers, when u knock these dudes out you can either get a mountain or ledge and shoot them, they can climb up some rocks, find a tricky to reach one.

Or you can just outrun them, sprint and shoot every now and then, they are slow, however DO NOT try to outrun it in water, it is a prehistoric crocodile and in water it will catch up to you and murder u with ease :)

After all these steps, starve it, it’s better, then put in meat feed, and you have a sarco, the saddle is in the 40’s I think lvl 45, make sure to check dododex for any needed help with food or saddle or narcotics, this is just tips

Imo, these dudes are better than barys or ichthys for underwater exploring... LET ME EXPLAIN!!

So basically these guys are EXTREMELY fast underwater and also regain their stamina instantly when underwater it doesnt have a stum attack like the bary but its faster so you can just run to escape and like ichthy and bary you can use weapons on it. But barys are better for underwater caves.

The ULTIMATE Dino team: island, mobile compatible too

Tanks: 3-5 sarcos, a therizno, and 2 brontos

Scouts: high level raptors, and mabey some sabbers

Attackers: 1giga, 2 spinos, and a Rex (if no giga spino is great sub)

Pursuits: (not on mobile) a small team of pegos with some itchy seagulls both are to drain supplies

Ariel team: idrk about aerials so I’m thinking a quiztle and some pteranodons and tappys canons attached and riders with bows

When attacking a op tribe with these dinos here is a good strategy:

Send the scouts to survey the camp, and report back. Send the aerials first, they will be kinda of wave 1/2 and will distract the op players and keep eyes mostly off the ground. Then send in the pursuits. They will rob most of the players out of their stuff and distract them. Now, start moving in the tanks and the attackers. Have the brontos break through any wall that keeps the others from getting in and then start demolishing the base. Have the raptors and sabers stay at the edge of the base to catch escapers. With this strat you will totally ruin someone’s day but become sooo op if u

win 🏆

Don't fight Sarco in the water. They swim very fast. On land they are slow, so I recommend it to run and shot them with a bow.

One of the best underwater tames EVER, easy to find, easy to tame, and it can kill a lot of crap too. They are ungodly fast underwater and don’t float to the top once underwater. And dps and speed arn’t even it’s best attributes, that would be ether be it versatility on both land and water or is defense. Absolute amazing tame, would recommend throughout both early and late game.

I use sarcos for the underwater island caves. 6k health, 1200 stam, then blast movement speed. Quickly and carefully go through the caves without needing to fight anything.

Here's a simple tip for the ones who don't know:

So basically when your riding a sarco rexes are really chill at you so you can go near them (just don't attack them)

Get them on land and walk backwards, they are slow on land but keep distance as they can lunge forward
