I tamed one on my God Mode game that has the colors of Scar from the Lion King. I've been told the name change ticket works for Royal Griffins so I'm gonna save up Amber to make his name Scar.

I suggest not making it choke on meat and Bio toxin my phone is quicker to charge than taming it with meat and Bio toxin I tested it it is a pain in the u know what

Easiest way ever to tame Griffin's or many other creatures place 5 dinosaur gateway at any obelisk like this ||||| and place gateways on both side and then kill any creature you want to tame and then revive it here it will be revived in the trap and you can easily tame it

Taming these guys are Easy peasy. Follow these steps:Do the South Cave to Farm a Southing Balm when you tribute the artifact. Next find a Griffin that respects you, here are most ways to gain Respect:Wear a Crown, Have the same last Surname example:Griffin:Pervilon Your Name:Morloan =Respect, be level 85 - 95 to gain Respect. Lastly,(To Continue the Taming Steps) make Allo kibble then tranq out the Griffin. Then Done.

THE NAME CHANGING TICKET DOESNT WORK

There are Two different way, how you can Tame a Griffin ? i'm not gonna share something , i just know . i'm gonna share my experience about Taming a griffin

#About Two way...

1. You have to get lvl-85 for lower lvl griffin (they gonna start respecting u from here) then get lvl-up for higher lvl griffin .

2. Change Your sur-name and add last 3 words from the griffin name's , which one you wanna Tame . [ N:B: Tips-2 dosen't work for some griffin (like ace'i , lendran'i) because you can't change your name like this . ]

i'm new so i just Tame Two of them... lvl-15 then lvl-55

with soothing balm (15x) lvl-15 griffin Taming scale up 18.4% per Kibble [ 100% ÷ 18.4% = 5.4 or 6 kibble needed ] and taming effectiveness decrease (0.3%) per kibble. it's take 30 minite to Tame.

with soothing balm (15x) lvl-55 griffin Taming scale up 14.3% per Kibble [ 100% ÷ 14.3℅ = 6.9 or 7 kibble needed ] and taming effectiveness decrease (0.3%) per kibble as before. it's take 42 minite to Tame.

Tamed a lvl 2 griffin with 15x and 4 allo kibble so if you wanna take a low level get 4+ allo kibble and a 15x and you got yourself a griffin!

If you have god console you can change the speed in game and it’ll speed up the hatching and maturation and Imprint process a little but it’s worth it on the long run

If you want to tame it and they don’t respect you? You can tame it, but it will be don’t rideable😔

I used my lvl700 something raptor to get raw meat and used the normal raw meat to tame one.

try taming a low level royal griffin first a female and a male so you could breed them for griffin eggs which is more affective than allo eggs

A somewhat lengthy method to tame a griffin that doesn’t require kibble would rely on trapping and the mobile glitch of getting its food to zero, overall steps would be:

1) build trap: I would recommend three Dino gateways, one gate, a stone fence foundation, and three stone doorways. Similar to an argh trap, position the gateways so they form a tunnel where the character can walk through but not a larger tame, and at the distant end of it plus a bit more place the stone foundation and the three doorways. This will trap the griffin, but the character will still be able to leave without having to open/close another door. Slap the gate on the gateway where the griffen will enter. This method is unfortunately also reliant on a pt with decent health.

2) Lure and trap griffen: find griffen that respects you, aggro it, and lead it to the trap. Let it hit you every once in a while to keep aggro. Fly through the trap and wait inside for the griffen to enter, may require a straight shot.

3) gather mats: a bit further from the trap where the griffen can’t hit, build a stone foundation and on it put a bed, 2-3 preserving bins, and either the mortar and pestle or just bring sparkpowder. If necessary, fence off the region with spiked walls.

4) go around killing things that drop prime, zoom back and place in preserving bin. Rinse and repeat until you have like, at least 1.5x what dododex recs, just in case (and because they spoil fast. Good place to farm is foot of far peak and carno island, as it’s pretty close with a decent pt. Use the spyglass barrel roll glitch for fast killing and gathering. (Carnos, allos, rexes, argies, and stegos all drop prime in the region)

5) with enough prime and the griffen in the trap, sleep. Knock out the griffen after checking prime meat stores to see if there’s still enough, knock griffen if yes, grind more if not. Tame with balm.

Good luck have fun, would rec taming two low levels with the same name endings first, then use their eggs for kibble for future high level griffen tames to avoid having to repeat this process again.

When knocked out lvl it up with god console then feed it meat and give it a lot of bio toxin it will save you years of your life

GUYS GUYS today something very strange happened i wanted to tame a griffin but im not lvl 85 and my name is Tom not a griffin surname so i bought i name ticket and tried to use it to tame but people sayed it does not work so i said to my self what if i used a mindwipe so that what i did i changed my name to Tomzar then used the mindwipe i leveld my self to 42 (i was level 75) then i go to the griffin mountain then the game crashed when i entered again i returned to my base again and i see a name ticket in my inventory but my name is Tomzar and i did not use the mindwipe but i unlearned all my engrams and i got 1080 engram point WTF then i realized that it was a glitch that it get me back to the time where i did not use the ticket or the mindwipe but thier effect is still work i used the mindwipe again and my engrams was -775 i leveld my self again to 42 and go to the mountain and i saw a two griffins the first griffin lvl 10 respected me but the other lvl 100+ did not so my thinking of all that the name change ticket is actually work but you need a mindwipe what do you think guys? (Sorry for my bad English iam Arabic)
