What about the normal griffin page? All I can see is royal griffin. I need a lot of help finding out about them?

Took me multiple hours even after I got prime meat they are a pain to tame

I know how boring it is to tame one of these (even though they are worth it), it’s best that you have god mode for obvious reasons and a Rex to collect prime meat and for protection.

my strategy is to tame the lowest level breeding pair possible (preferable with minor or no balm), and breed them for eggs. make kibble and tame another female with the same surname. breed it, and by this point the first female should be ready to breed. note that it only takes 5 kibble with a 10x for a lvl 300.

This is a good way if you want a high lvl one in mobile

1.Use a fast flyer (recommended argy)

2.get ur balm and allo kibble

3.find a low griffin

4.tranq it

5.feed a balm and get ur allo kibble

Boom! You got ur first griffing

Repeat this process up to what gender ur griffin you got then tame a high lvl one instead

What the chart doesn't tell you is that regular raw meat and regular raw fish work as well....it just takes A LOT. You also need a lot of narcotics (i recommend Bio Toxin) to keep the Griffin under. Definitely trap it because otherwise it flies away and is never seen again. Not once have I ever seen the same Griffin twice.

Also, please make sure all tamed creatures nearby are on PASSIVE otherwise they'll end up killing the Griffin.

it’s easy to tame just starve it then knock it then feed it!!!

i reccommend these steps to tame (a high level) griffin

Step 1: tame allos

Step 2: breed allos

Step 3:use their eggs to make kibble

Step 4:use that kibble to tame two low level griffins to breed them

Step 5:use their eggs to make griffin kibble

Step 6:find a high level griffin

Step 7:tame it with the griffing kibble

Extra tips:

_ you can use a carnivore phenomene(or however they are called) to get super fertilized griffin eggs and use them to make super griffin kibble

_ Please use a soothing balm

Griffins are found on a mountain on the north east coast that’s just about straight across from the volcano.

I have a feeling this is the hardest Dino to tame without soothing balm. A lvl 1 giga takes 10 prime meat, while a lvl 1 Griffin takes about 132 prime meat. Why do the devs make ark mobile dinos harder

I wrote a wall of text last time, but this one will be short, I promise.

(Because I am on mobile) I tamed one before taming a quetzal. Best decision ever because now I won’t need a quetz. Yes, it was expensive (145 amber for my first, won’t change my name ever, now), but definitely worth it for being able to recharge stamina pretty much anywhere as long as I’m high up with my griffin, and have the mobility of a tapejara. And being able to do dive bombs. That’s a big plus.

Do swamp cave and note runs and BOOM LEVEL 85 now u can tame a griffin

I was lvl 16 one of these things somehow came all the way down to hidden lake (my base) I was on single player so no one spawned it, it went after me. I killed the gosh be darned thing. It has 1000+ hp. Here's how: when killing them use spiked fences, Run behind the fences after making a small cage with a space behind to get out of. they will not run till they have -80 HP, then bows, spears, pikes, (I killed sarcos to get a pike) and crossbows works well, then finish it. It had no special loot. I was sad. Do this thing ^ if it worked!

When u tame these and have a male and female with the last three latters, use a faramone for these i got a lime green chest, because of faramone and makes egg hatching to 30 mins, not 4 hours

First step is trap it then shoot it when it gets to about 3/4 topor then sleep in a bed this should bring it’s food down to 0 then you can almost instant tame it

For everyone who has god console I recommend a low level. knock it out and level it up a crap ton than use raw meat or raw prime to tame. Works for me and mines around level 700

Took me 22 tranq darts, around 500 bio toxin, about 25 allo kibble, 100 prime meat, regular meat, and about 5 hours for a lvl 180 griffin.

[NOTICE!] this is for people with god console. First step, build you’re trap on the top of fars peak. (Four stone gateways and two reinforced gateways) second step, find you’re griffin between lvl 1-10, when you find you’re griffin shoot it inside the cage with you’re gate open (turn on invernable) close the gate when the griffin is in and run of the open spaces. Third step, get a turret and put chain bolas in there and shoot it at the griffin. Fourth step, knock it out, you’ll need a long neck and shocking tranq darts (kill cndira for the biotoxin) when it’s knocked out starve it. Fifth step, feed it , when’s it’s starved you’ll need 20 allo kibble , raw meat and soothing balm ( I prefer 15x) the griffin will eat the food quickly since its starving. ( they fill up quickly) sixth step, wait.p, when you’re waiting put biotoxin in it so it doesn’t wake up , put on 400x speed to make it quicker (might take 20 minutes or so ) when it wakes up, BOOM got you a griffin hope this helped you.<3
