The name changing ticket doesn’t work don’t bother using it. When you change your name it can revert back in two known ways. First if you go on another mount your name will revert and the griffin will stop respecting you. Second and last if you leave the game and go back in your name will revert back and the griffin stopped respecting u. In the end your name will change so don’t bother wasting your amber if you do and do this without any faults at the end of the day your griffin will no longer respect you.

P.S: I tamed a griffin by the name changing ticket but I left the game to do a quick save and when I went back in I was on the ground and the griffin was floating in the air. It still listen to you but you can’t ride it if you tame a griffin and after that your name reverts

After you take a royal griffin u will notice that it’s melee has dropped don’t worry it happens to all the royal griffins it’s just to balance everything but hey you can upgrade the melee in the future

If you don’t want to tame it then ask a pro who knows how to tame one to join your tribe and tame it for you! P.S you have to be level 85 or over to tame griffin you could also ask cling

It takes dedication and hardwork to have a perfect tame, but it's well worth it, they hit like a truck when dive swiping and extremely fast as well, they cant carry a lot but they are the best at covering land.

If you are attacked by a griffin with an argie, land and start attacking the griffin from the ground. The griffin won't be able to do very much damage to you and you can defeat the griffin pretty easily. Just watch out for raptors

For everyone asking where to find griffins, they are at the top right corner the map, around the mountain that is there. This is the only place they spawn.

I recommend you use griffin kibble

A Griffin tame is the hardest tame ever. Bur to be Honest its worth it. You can easily tame Dinos while flying. Just put a Weapon out and shoot. For da Dive you have to sprint and look downwards. Remember you can't dive with something in your Hand.

Name change tickets only work on servers. Solo players can’t get the name change to work because you can’t restart the solo player server. Multiplayer servers restart a lot. Name changes after restart.

To tame these guys I recommend a trap with at least a 10x balm, taming a 110 took 3 griffin kibble with a 10x balm.

What about the normal griffin page? All I can see is royal griffin. I need a lot of help finding out about them?

Took me multiple hours even after I got prime meat they are a pain to tame

I know how boring it is to tame one of these (even though they are worth it), it’s best that you have god mode for obvious reasons and a Rex to collect prime meat and for protection.
