Book 1: A Hidden World

The world where Nix lives is a unique one. He lives in a clan of managarmrs in a frozen wasteland stretching across a plain. Next to them are two other clans of rock drakes and wyverns. There are more around The Foedo, scattered among different biomes. However, they are always fighting for territory.

Nix was chosen for something special. On his twelfth year, they decide what the Youngclaws' work will be. He was chosen for the highest duty.

When he sees a rockdrake, he finds he can't take his eyes off of her. But when they fall into turmoil, Nix has to make a choice. The one he loves, or the whole clan?
