What are tips for rock drake? Tips and strategies for rock drake in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
I have a question,If Valguro has an Abberation cave,Then why isn't it there,And why does crystal Ilse not have a little bit of all the dlcs due to it having almost all the engrams?
This is the BEST WAY TO GET AS MANY EGGS AS YOU WANT in literally less than 5 minutes without needing to fight any rock drake.
1- get a desmodus
2- craft a hazmat suit
3- go to the cave and go invisible
4- land in the nest, grab the egg and go out
5- Voilà, here is your free rock drake egg
Bruh I went max difficulty and I keep finding lvl 190 and 180 eggs
Lowkey how long does food last for these mofo when rasing
They aren’t weaker than a wild rex they just happen to have slower dps.
Rock drakes usally live in there caves
THE REAL ULTIMATE SURVIVOR’s GUIDE TO ROCK DRAKES ON FJORDER:
the other one was overly complicated
STEALING:
You need three things to steal the egg:
-Desmodus w/ saddle (They’re immune to radiation)
-Radiation suit (blue gems from the abberation cave at Vannaland S SE [the opening faces the ocean and is surrounded by purple crystals], condensed gas from the abberation cave at Vardiland S NW)
-Nightime
Once it’s night, go camouflage on the desmodus and fly into the rock drake neat cave located in the southern corner of Asgard’s blue forest. The desmodus will go undetected by rock drakes until you take an egg (you have to dismount to take the egg). Fly out without camouflage—saves stamina—you’ll be faster than the drakes—and voila you’ve got your egg.
HATCHING:
Just get two dimetrodons and pump melee into them (they’re portable air conditioners and more melee points makes them more effective). Pop your egg next to them and it should hatch in a little bit.
RAISING:
Baby rock drakes only eat nameless venom. Because nameless don’t spawn on Fjorder, to get the venom mine the orange rocks in the Vannaland S SE cave with a stone hatchet (trust me). While you’re there, go to the back of the cave (bring a decent tame or be sneaky, there’s ravagers and a karkinos) and mine 85 red gems (needed for the saddle).
That’s it :)
Here is one of my favorite ways to get my first rock drake egg. In the blue zone there is an area where the big metal spine goes down to the element lakes. Equip a glide suite and glide down. Have a karkanos in a cryo pod and throw it out. There is a drake nest right there to you go over and grab some eggs. When your ready to head up, cryo the crab and use climbing pics to get to the top. In cryo crab and enjoy the Drake.
Ps. Once you have a drake, you just glide down the pit with it and climb up it with it. It’s a lot easier that way.
I have one on Crystal Isles (spawned one in and command tamed it) and I've found that they're very good for gathering (crystal) wyvern eggs. They can climb inside the trench, glide/launch themselves out, camouflage themselves so nothing aggroes and if they do get attacked they can defend themselves
So when stealing eggs for some reason drakes are glitched in the wall so you'lltake the egg and a drake will too out of the wall right next to the nest you are on
They can only be tamed via raising them from eggs, like wyverns. They need Nameless Venom as babies, they won’t eat anything else. Their eggs are found in a certain section of the Element Chamber.
The tek federation suit from gen 2 are radiation proof, you can transfer it to fjordur and tame a desmodus (which is immune to radiation and can go invisible) and get super easy eggs in their nest in asgard
On fjordur blue cave they tend to get stuck and lag out, not producing any eggs. If you ant to stop this, use knockback attacks to get them unstuck. I recommend getting eggs on fjordur since you can use flyers, and since they cannot fly themselves. Be cautious to remove any shoulder pets, since most are not radiation-proof. I learned the hard way (rip fjordhawk). I recommend desmodus, since they can go invisible and I do not believe take radiation damage. Hope this helps
Managarmr should work on Aberration, if you know how to control it it makes your life just a bit easier
You can use dimetrodons to hatch eggs, level the dimetrodon’s melee for a stronger insulation effect.
Hatched this guy in Small ice Cave on Rag still took 17 air conditioners... Bastards.
Use a meglocouras to get to the rock drake nest as they are buffed so it can get in and out but the only trouble for me is I can't hatch rock drake egg and I even have 12 aircons
