Can fly forwards & backwards and also strafe

I just wrote a tip about this, but I’m literally mindblown by this as a tame, and I can’t stop thinking of nice things to say about it.

It only needs 1 resin in its inventory to carry stuff, so that should be useful for those who are like me and are still working on building a sap factory out of taps and archaeopteryx. I’ve been using my current Rhynio to catch and tame the highest level rexes I can find so that’s I can breed rexes not only for the Dinos, but so I can impregnate a very powerful bred Rex with a higher level female, since the baby rhynios get stats from its host as well.

This Dino is insane, and I can simply pick up a large predator that’s invading and drop it somewhere else, or simply kill it because this bug is so strong.

It also has the status of an apex predator, so everything will leave you alone except for other massive carnivores.

It has useful ranged attacks, can swim horizontally as fast as it flies… why is this thing so perfect?

You gotta take one of these they are most likely allrounder.It has high and can carry most creatures also allowing u to use weapons while riding💀(this makes quetzal taming much easier).this guy can also swim underwater(although they got oxygen bar it doesn't show the bar on Hud of ark ultimate mobile edition so be careful) which helps lot to find underwater creatures or looting beaver dams.

To the guy who said you can have 10 people with weapons if you pick up a diplo. You can actually have 11 because the rhynio has a passanger seat too.

Step 1 get rhynio step 2 get a archaeopteryx step 3 fly to the red woods on your rhynio with archaeopteryx on your shoulder step 4 go to a big redwood tree and tell your little dude to collect sap while u safe on your rhynio on the tree be careful of tree cats!! Go to the nearest big redwood tree at the edges of the redwoods look before landing and going to it enjoy

Got raided but manage to save the valuables? Fly high in the sky to the limit with this bad boy and you can logoff until you decide where to go next you can even log off on it since it's big enough you won't fall off

As of the time I'm posting this, Rhynio can pick up Industrial forge with any amount of metal inside and rhynio will not get encumbered at just cost of some resin. (ARK UME)

Saves time by cutting your trip to just once will full indie forge of metal at once.

I recommend you use brontosaurus for taming

Tame a high level one of these and youre invincible, the only weakness ive seen these guys have is cryosickness. my level 313 killed about 6 lvl 150+ mosasaurs and only lost 5k health

Spawns in the swamps/jungle areas on the island. Probs my new fav dino next to the griffin. You can shoot from it's back and also go under water and shoot. You can take off from the water. This dino is a game changer.

BTW this thing when tamed can pick up stuff that wyverns cant

This bug is just great...it can carry a lot ,has a decent damage stat and speed. If one could manage to impregnate a creature with good stat and fulfill all craving they will surely get a great flyer.though these things are also dangerous af so always go prepared.

They have 800 oxygen, and they swim really good, can attack underwater, but i dont recommend using them for ocean hunting cuz they float up to the surface when you dismount (similar to direbear)

If you are taming something and something else starts attacking it you can ise the rhynio's intimidate attack and it will scare just about anything wothout doing damage. If it doesnt scare them away you can pick them up and mpve them so that you dont accidemtally hit your tame.

Put sap in its inventory to start creating Rhyniognatha Resin, you can use the resin to pick up large scale dinos (caps out at rexes, Diplo's and paracers) structures like vaults and transmitters by holding R1 and pressing R2, Press R2 to place the structure again.(ps4 and Xbox)

Holding R1 and pressing L2 will swap resin projectile type, you have 3 options. Bomb, needle and rocket. Bomb lobs a glob of resin onto the ground and creates a pool of resin that will slow anything that steps in it down, if they're exposed to the resin for long enough, the victim will slow down to an achatinas pace if not completely freeze. L2 is to use resin projectiles.

Needles is especially a gun but with liquid resin as ammo, it's less accurate and takes some practice to use. L2 is to fire, each shot uses 1 resin.

Rocket is like needles except more accurate at the cost of firing speed, it allows you to zero in on anything you target. Hold L2 to target and let go to fire.

The Rhyniognatha is a glass cannon, it can't take a lot of damage but it makes up for that in dishing out a lot of damage towards enemies. Fire is it's ultimate weakness, steer clear of magmasaurs, fire wyverns and the occasional pyromaniac.

Pressing R3 (the right analog stick) like a button will trigger the "Taunt". It scares away larger scale dinos and below, including rexes and Yutyrannus. There is a cooldown to the taunt.

Holding R1 and pressing R3 will activate Resin armor, it's halves any damage dealt to the Rhyniognatha. Similar to the Stegosaurus' Hardend Plates. Will only activate if resin is in the Rhyniognathas inventory.
