Chapter 7
Tealfeather turned away from the gruesome sight. Her mind was whirring. *Who was Star?* *How did Father know him?* *Why... *she swallowed thee lump in her throat.* Why did he kill him?* Bloodfeather nudged the corpse into the bushes and started walking in the direction of the ribcage. *I'm not going to make it back before him.* she realised.
Teal ran toward the ribcage, leaving a wide gap between her and her father at all times. In her haste, she failed to notice the raptor still lurking in the trees. Didn't notice the tears streaming down his face. Certainly didn't see the cold, determined anger on his face.
Teal slowed when she reached a small grove of trees, close enough to the ribcage to faintly hear the voices of her fellow raptors. She dared to look back at Bloodfeather, and to her got to, he was peering intently at the trees she was concealed in. Tealfeather kept as still as she could, silently praying that her father hadn't noticed her. Bloodfeather's gaze bore into the trees for what felt like hours. The sun was beginning to set, and with it, the temperatures dropped. Teal suppressed a shiver. Finally, Bloodfeather looked away and kept walking. Tealfeather let out a heaving sigh of relief. She ran around the back of the camp, where she knew there was a small space that she could squeeze through. Teal peeked through the small gap and saw Bronzefeather sleeping soundly near it. Now that the sun had fully set, almost all the raptors were asleep. Tealfeather silently crept up to her brother and curled her tail around his. Teal fell asleep quickly, but her dreams were filled with screaming raptors and Star's weak voice.

Chapter 6
The ribcage was beginning to look more and more developed. The vegetation the clan had collected had been used to cover the bones, forming a blanket like canopy over half of the bones. One of the smaller ribs had been snapped in half, dragged around to form the back of the camp. Sand had been scraped away to leave a large space for prey. At the moment, the pile was pitifully small. Tealfeather dropped the body of the lystrosaurus in the pile and caught sight of her brother lying in a ball with his tail resting over his nose. At the sight of Teal, he brightened visibly and bounded over to help her disentangle the hardy shrub from her claws. A smaller pile of plants and the like was assembled next to the prey pile, and Tealfeather dropped the bush there. "Ghasp!" she sighed dramatically. "*Why* are you sitting around? Surely that's illegal!"
"Bloodfeather wants us to go with him and some other raptors to map our surroundings. The same Bloodfeather that's standing behind you, in fact." Bronzefeather said.
Tealfeather spun around. Sure enough, Bloodfeather was standing behind her, an angry look on his face.
"Hello Father." she said.
"We're leaving," he said shortly. Bloodfeather stalked away.
"*Why* do you keep doing that?" hissed Bronzefeather.
"He annoys me."
Bronzefeather looked as though that was not good enough reasoning, which was strange, after all, *he* was the one who charged off into the desert because he missed her!
"We should go," sighed Tealfeather.
Teal had been on patrols before, but this one was extremely boring and uneventful. *Nothing* interesting happened. Granted, Tealfeather didn't know what classified as 'interesting' in this new, barren landscape, but surely it was more exciting than *this*. At least it was coming to an end. Bloodfeather lead the patrol, with Yellowfeather closely behind. Tawnyfeather and Forestfeather - Greyfeather's parents - were in front of them, and Bronze and Teal took up the rear. There wasn't a peep from anyone as they silently surveyed the landscape, looking for threats and landmarks alike. They neared a group of trees. A rustling came from one of the bushes. An unfamiliar burst from the bushes, leaping at Bloodfeather. Instantly, the other raptors attacked, clawing at the threat to their leader. There was a high shriek of alarm as the raptor realised there were many more enemies than he had originally thought. "STOP!" rang the cry of Bloodfeather. "Leave me alone with him."
The other raptors exchanged puzzled looks, one by one, they left in the direction of the camp, barely visible in the rapidly falling night. Teal made in the direction of the ribcage, then looked around and crouched behind the bushes. She could faintly make out the shale of Bloodfeather, standing over the other raptor, who was on the ground and bleeding from several scratches and cuts. "What are you doing here, Star?" hissed Bloodfeather. Star? Did Bloodfeather *know* this raptor?
"You raptors promised never to set foot near me or my territory." he continued.
"W-we have a n-new leader, sir. H-he dosent abide b-by the treaty. said Star, blood seeping from his wounds.
"Tell me his name."
"I d-don't know what i-it is."
"LAIR!"
"P-please..."
Before Star could finish, Bloodfeather lunged toward him, biting down on his neck with lethal force.

Chapter 5
They made their way back to camp, not speaking, conserving their limited energy. The sun reflected off Bronzefeather's pale green scales, shining into Tealfeather's eyes. She nearly missed the other raptors when they came into her line of sight. The disheveled group were wandering toward the ribcage of some large creature. It had been dead a while, no stench of decomposition coming from the pristine bones. Teal spotted Scarletfeather, Indigofeather walking beside her and Silverfeather dangling from her jaws. As she watched, Indigo tripped over and let out a pitiful cry. Scarlet set Silverfeather down and picked up Indigo. Teal caught up to the rest of the group and nudged the closest raptor, who happened to be Greenfeather, and motioned for him to pick up her Terror Bird. Green was about Teal's age, and she'd had a ridiculous crush on him when she was younger. She'd gotten over it. Bronzefeather speculated that she would be partnered with him, after all, he was almost the only male raptor around her age. He nodded, saving his breath, and grabbed the terror bird. Teal ran over - or more accurately, power walked over - to Scarletfeather and grabbed Silver by the scruff of her neck. Scarletfeather didn't say anything, but she expressed her thanks with a friendly nudge.
They reached the ribcage and a few of the raptor collapsed - primarily the elder among the group. A hiss sounded from a large rock near the ribcage. Tealfeather turned to see Bloodfeather. "Okay! All prey, there. Let every raptor fo catch their own prey gather nest material. Those nursing baby raptors can stay." Bloodfeather growled, a note of authority clear in his voice. All around him, raptor set to work.
Teal growled angrily. She had barely gathered anything and she knew that Bloodfeather wasn't happy. It wasn't her fault! Ok, for one, those tall green plant things were *spiky*. Tealfeather's inner brooding was cut off by the sight of a small grove of trees. A Lystrosaurus was ambling toward the prospect of food. Instinct dropped Teal into a stalking crouch. There was no cover here, and the Lystro caught sight of her, letting out a squeal and sheltering behind a shrub. *Weird creatures*. Teal pounced on the lystrosaurus, not bothering to finish it off. It squealed pathetically while she ripped up the shrub it had unsuccessfully tried to hide behind before falling silent a short while after. She grabbed the corpse with her teeth and tangled her talons in the shrub. Teal set off toward camp.
Guns n’ Rexes
Chapter 5: A Hat And A Pistol
Jewels. Gems. Crystals. We rode back into the town, the first one, to sell our plunder. ‘Course, we didn’t tell ‘em it was plunder. Turned out that people don’t buy crystals ‘cause they’re pretty or like the sparkle, but ‘cause they’re rare and needed for lots of things. See, you have to travel up the mountains, where all the big and strong carnivores hang about, and harvest the crystals there. Turns out that lad and his bear were tougher than we thought. They then use those crystals to make windows, glasses, telescopes, fancy equipment, and then the really fancy stuff that caught my eye- the next shop we visited was the gun shop.
We were in luck- the blacksmith was in need of crystals. I was like a kid in a candy store, gapin’ and gawpin’ at all those guns, pistols, rifles, shotguns laid out on a tan cloth on a wooden table. Each gun was on its own cloth, with its own bullet type and how many per mag laid out on that same cloth beside it. I brushed my fingers over each gun as I walked past, from rifles to shotguns to revolvers as they sparkled in the light of the glowing irons the blacksmith was hammerin’. I found my way over to the perfect gun, as if it were calling to me… 6 Shots, classic revolver type but with two extra toggles. I flipped one and a knife whizzed out like a bayonette, leaving me as speachless as a toddler waking up on Christmas. I flipped the other switch and heard a clunk, but I could only speculate as to what it did. Left that shop with the pistol you see on my waist today.
“Wait… So you bought it black and red like it is now?”
“‘Course not!” I told Will. “That’s a story for another time. Now lemme finish this tale.”
I took it to the range to test my skills first, and after an hour the gun felt like an old friend that I could never forget. Turns out, I was just as great a shot as I am with a bow. Hit the drainin’ dummy’s eyes, chest and forehead 3 times each- then I remembered the second switch. I reloaded the mag, flipped the toggle and pulled the trigger. The barrel spun round quickly, firing all 6 bullets in a flury of bangs that landed dead in the targets head. I was dumstruck. But somethin’ didn’t feel quite right so we went back into the stores to buy one of those brown leather cowboy hats you see in movies. Walked outta that town like proper cowboys we did.
-Not really an eventful shopping trip, but now they have guns. Last was In Trike, next in Pteranodon.

Me and Beta:A short friendship.
Exploring the forests I encountered a Raptor. It was dark green colored with red-ish orange feathers.I fell in love with it the moment we I saw it.’’Yes! This would be amazing for my hunting pack!’’ I shouted.(I had a pego and 3 dilos at that time) I trapped it with a bola and knocked it out with a club.I it was tamed I name her Beta.We hunted dilos and other raptors together, until that one faithful moment. A titanoboa lunged out of the bushes and killed my dilos and pegomastax. In tears i also had to watch my beloved Beta get Demolish by the giant beast.
Up=Rip for Beta
So 🤣 when I was new I always died to these sh- raptors.. I was like “Ooooo raptor egg better take it and run” so I took it and the WHOLE FREAKING PACK RAN AFTER ME. Recently I got the ARK: Animated Series morph for my raptor Shayla ❤️. She is my favorite. We took down a Spino and T-Rex together. I’m taking her revival chip incase she dies now, bye!
Carnivores Ep:2
“What?” Beam said, baffled. She watched the dilos party, her little sister bouncing next to her, probably itching badly to sing along. “I can’t believe they managed to scare one of us. He must have been a real dumb raptor,” she shook her head in disappointment, then walked back into her packs lair.
As the sun rose form the sky, the dilos were beginning to scurry off for their usual hunting times. Who knew they were so active at night.
“BEAM. Something bit me.” Her sister whined, limping animatedly on one foot. “A big ant or something.”
“Oh it’s okay,” Beam reassured, nuzzling her. Her little sister, named Feather, overreacted all the time. Seeing huge raptors; tiny dodos the size of her claws…“Mother will wake up soon, then Lion can play with you.” She began to walk outside the cave, feeling the light wind in her feathers.she scratched at her orange and green scales with one claw, then glowered at the forest. “I’ll be back soon little sis.” She said. “Just gonna do some hunting.”
She ran through the forest, knowing exactly what she was looking for.
Once she caught her first dilo, she’d find out HOW EXACTLY they scared off her own species and managed to survive it.
Or if they would lie to their own kin.
A(kind of) wholesome story
I once hatched a raptor and fully imprinted it. He was green like emerald and was just beautiful. We did together so many cave runs and he always came out without a scratch. We were together all the time and as I progressed through levels, i started to tame a lot better dinos. One day I wanted to tame a rex, but I had too much tames. I didn't know, who else to unclaim, than my raptor. So I did what I had to. I didn't tame the rex. I love my raptor too much! And from that day I stayed with my raptor. We went on walks, i occasionally handfed him, and we even went on hunts! And we still do! I have this raptor for too long to let it go! And i always come back to my old base to thank him for all the good times we had together.
I had a raptor named hunter. Health : 960, damage per hit : 40, weigh : 217, stamina : 435.. he was the best raptor I ever had until one day I was hunting megapirranha then a bronto came near my base.. they were one of my worst enemy's cause they get damaged from spike walls then they attack.. there stupid and all but one of my raptors : hunter the alpha of my raptor pack was attacked.. he couldn't take on a lvl 45 bronto but the others joined in.. he still died ... the bronto was stomping away cause of its low health.. idk but not a lot of creatures do that they'll just fight till death.. but anyway the bronto was stomping away and hunter and the others were chasing it... brontos.. when they stomp away they can do damage if your right by the legs .. and hunter died that way just before the bronto died he die.. he was the best dino I had he was fun he had good health and did a good amount of damage like an alpha... you know what to do if you like my story
Carnivores Ep. 1
“Wake up Beam! Wake up!”
Beam lifted her head from the ground and snarled at her little sister.
“I was sleeping.” Beam growled.
“Duh.” Her sister said. “BUT there’s a mob of dilos outside our lair! There like marching and stuff.”
Marching and stuff? Dilos? Beam stood up on her hind legs and shook the dirt of her feathers. She walked out from their cave and spotted, low and behold, at least thirty dilophosaurs screaming into the moonlight, their heads lifted high. Was this some sort of party?
“Today we managed to do the impossible!” The head dilo exclaimed. “We scared a RAPTOR! You all know how we HATE the comps and paras, don’t forget other dilos that don’t believe we can do it!”
“WOO HOO!” Many dilos hooted.
“ but today we’ve propped them wrong! A raptor! He shoes to mess with us! We taught him a lesson!” She howled. “So tonight we celebrate! We are the alphas! WE are the top predators!” She spread out her arms and looked up to the sky, and they all cheered,
“The SPITTERS SHALL ALWAYS RULE! WERe CARNIVORES FOREVER!”
When I was new in Ark and killed multiple times by Raptor, so I decided to tame one. I bring bola, narcotic, meat and started searching for it. I found him and try to bola but missed and he killed. Again I try bola, missed and killed for 5-6 times then I thought I cannot bola him. I climbed on rock and try to tranquize. He was very fast I missed some arrow and hits a lot of tranq arrow and killed multiple times in this process. Finally I killed him just by using tranq. After a lots of day I understand that Raptor was an Alpha and cannot be tamed 🥲

If you joined the right ark server at the right time on the right date you will see stuff you never imagined was real. You would see dinosaurs killed millions of years ago. And creatures made of fanfiction and horror itself. Prepare yourself for a world you never imagined. But unlike the normal "game" you feel pain. And you can't leave this server once you join. Heck you don't even know who you are. And there are the rumors that something is happing now you can't respawn. We are losing more tribemates daily this is a warning for all who proceed. BE CAREFUL. And I wish you the luck I... We the first ones never had
Ps. I think we're the first ones anyway I have found notes made by others but to who I don't know.
-kanara I hope you like the prologue it's short but give you some back ground info B-Bye

Chapter 13-
The water was wild, raging, and icy in temperature. The fierce spray made it so that even if Tealfeather's head could breach the surface, she could barely breathe without inhaling water. Her leg was barely hurting, despite being trapped under a rock. A sickening snap told her it was broken, but still Teal felt no pain. Adrenaline coursed through her veins, negating thought. Her only instinct was to survive. She heard a strangled cry of help, and realised with shock that it was her own. There was a sharp pain in her lungs, making her dizzy. Her vision began to fade. Finally, *finally*, she slipped into the peaceful resolution of unconsciousness.
On the brink of consciousness, Tealfeather listened. There were two voices, fading in and out of earshot. Or perhaps, Teal was fading in and out of a deeper sleep.
"What were you thinking?" hissed one of the voices.
"I couldn't leave her there." replied a second voice
"Ace, you can't save everyone. Especially those rouges. Remember, they killed your brother."
"I didn't see the malicious killer in her when she was pushed off the cliff," the second raptor, Ace, said flatly.
The first raptor sighed. Teal had an inkling that they did that a lot.
"Injuries?"
"Broken leg, some minor cuts and bruises, maybe a fractured rib."
"All right... she can stay."
"Thank you Rain! I prom-"
"*For now*."
Ace began speaking, but his voice began to fade. Slowly but surely, Teal slipped into a deep sleep, where no voices could follow.
Tealfeather awoke suddenly with a sharp intake of breath. She had been wrenched from a dream into a rather large, sheltered area. The place was walled off my sheer rock faces on two sides, and a third was made up of tall trees that stretched their branches to create a canopy. Teal was lying in a small nest of moss near the convergence of the two rock walls. A sturdy stick was tied to her leg, secured with large strips of rope-like fibre. *Where* am *I?*
