If on ragnorock you can lead to the snow biom and it should be lower to the ground then if you can jump on its back and shoot it like crazy with tranq darts it’ll knock out and you’ll have yourself a quetzal (mine got stuck on a rock)

I know two ways to get this first is get on a tape with a friend/ally have them follow the quetz while you shoot it with tranqs option 2 is to go on any flyer jump off and grapple on to it and shoot with tranqs

If you plan on to revive a quetzal, make sure to have 40 to 50 amber

Everyone uses tapejaras, but real men stand on top of a griffin on aggro 🥹

Get a tapajara and target it. Get your tranq darts and start shooting it. Then feed it prime meet and you have yourself a quetzal

You can either use three tactics:

1: if u have an argy level it's speed up to 120+ and grapple

2: sit on the passenger seat and shoot it darts until knocked

3: the easiest way is getting a griffin since u can use weapons on em

Use a balm and rex kibble, exceptional kibble or mutton for taming and bring bio toxins

Gen2 taming quetzals are easy . Fly above them with a tech suit And longneck and hope they don’t land in water

If you got a big brain like some youtubers use a tapejara or a griffin since you can whistle agro on a quetz in the passenger seat. Then get dem tranqs are start shooting it tell its nocked. If its in a dangerous area put metal or wood spikes around it deppending on the area.

(Old Ark Mobile)This is very long to do but effective, First tame a Tapejara, after doing that tame a high level female Rex make rex kibble. The the Quetzal taming, prepare, find a high level Quetzal, remember Tapejara saddles have two seats, switch seats then whistle 'target' then the Tapejara will follow the Quetzal, next shoot it with darts, when it's knock down apply soothing balm and put the kibble in it's inventory, make sure the area where it's knock down is safe.

If the quetz knock out in the water just use a horse and a load so to get it out up so more quetzals don’t die

I really recommend killing the Quetzel grabbing it’s in plant and reviving it at a revival platform but make a trap around the revival platform then it’s super easy to tame it this only works for mobile though

Get a griffin and tranq it out off the back of it

TAME ONE THERE ARE GOOD FOR BAIT AND TAMING LIKE THE ROCK GOLEM BECAUSE OF THE PLATFORM SADDLE!!!!!!!!

How Long do Quetzals Take to respawn After Last Kill?

Putting it to sleep with Tapejaras is the easy part. The hardest part is to get it to land on safe grounds when it collapses. Almost anything can kill it if ur area is not good.

On mobile all you need to tame this is a parachute, tranquilizer darts, a gun to shoot them and a tapiijara set on aggressive with you in the passenger seat, once you knock the quetzal out jump off with a parachute and tame them.

Try to tame a low level one and save up for a platform saddle and make a quetzal trap then find another and damage it and ease it in for easy quetzals

Three methods:

RARE FLOWERS DON’T WORK

1. Ride in the passenger seat of a Tapejara and whistle attack target. If it’s too fast, whistle passive, then repeat until it’s knocked out.

2. Use dodo arrows to lead it into a trap, then tranq it until it’s out.

3. Use an argy and grapple to it. Like the Tapejara, whistle attack target, then passive if it gets too close.

Step 1: get on a flying Dino with a buddy

Step 2: find a quetzal

Step 3: knock it out

Step 4: watch it get mindlessly eaten alive by carnivores when it lands

Step 5: obtain severe depression

Step 6: find another quetzal

Step 7: repeat until your quetzal finally lands in a good spot (usually takes 2,000 tries)

How I tamed a Quetzal is by using a Tapejara and while on the passenger seat set it to attack the Quetz and fire tranqs at it also, when its knocked out bring a parachute with you because you can't change to driver side while in passenger.
