chapter five

We stood across the lagoon staring at the thezo. George asked “can i have some meat?” I handed him some of rock’s jerky and he chucked it at the thezo. It turned around and found the meat. It was face first into the jerky when George yelled “tranq it!” I fumbled the first arrow but George had already landed three! He was a master! The thezo ran towards us but i shot a tranq directly in his neck and he fell unconscious! We did it! We fed it some mejoberries and it slowly started to rise! It lifted a claw…. and patted my head! We Tamed it! Or him because we gave him a name! PoPeye!

The last few chapters were a little boring but i promise this is where it gets good!

Jaws of the Crocodile- Chapter 3

Nox had never seen the volcano from this close before. The massive mountain was dotted with settlements.

“We start here.” Said Kai. He took Sunny down for landing.

A griffin swooped down. “Halt!” It screeched.

“We come here to tell the tale of Roughtooth.” Said Kai.

“We heard what happened.” Said the griffins rider tersely. “We don’t want to hear about it again.”

The rider took out a tek rifle. Kai drew his sword.

Everyone was silent.

Finally, the rider took their helmet off.

“I’m Jenny.” Said the rider. She was a female human (Nox assumed) with dark blue eyes and long brown hair tied back with some sort of fiber.

Kai toppled backwards and almost fell down the mountain, but Sunny caught him just in time.

Jenny laughed. Nox wondered what Kai was thinking.

“I’ll take you to my tribes base.” Said Jenny. “Maybe we could help.”

Kai nodded his head and blushed and smiled in a weird was that Nox assumed normal for humans.

But something seemed wrong... Nox didn’t entirely trust Jenny.

Kai did, way too much.

so one time I got a brand new quetz and named him big boi well... bad idea my base got raided and the raiders kiddnaped big boi beacuse he was so big boi a quote that from the note they left me

I tamed a low level quetz so that i could put a trap on it to get a high level quetzal. Low and behold i found a lvl 156 tek quetzal. I try to trap it aaaannnd i think my trap was too small. I kept trying and eventually it ran into a wall. It wouldn't leave. 15 minutes pass and I'm done with this bullshit so i decide to risk it and go underneath it to catch the unconscious quetz (there was water below) and so i knock him out. Then i get off to put food in. I get stuck inside the damn quetzal and i cant even access the inventory. So i tried to whistle my quetzal somewhere else. I accidentally punch it instead. Wow. Taming effectiveness ruined. So i just relog. Luckily i got unstuck and got to feed it. But somehow the taming effectiveness was fine despite me punching it... eh at least i have a lazerbird now

Everyone says they slow as damn, they actually speedy as ptera maybe faster. Tanks, long distance flyers, speed creatures. You name it quetz will do it. Did hunt giga using a lvl 18 on mobile, giga was lvl 45.

Bruh there are unofficial servers the server owner will give you max level in mobile this is legit guys i was tribes with the server owner once 😋 just letting you know 😋

As I was taming a Quetzel And I C Pack raptors I kill my quiz I had to kill

There was this quetzal flying around and buddy landed on carno island and I saw it so I crafted darts for my apprentice longneck rifle then I followed it to knock it out but this guy just won’t stop moving so I took my rhynio and followed it again then I tranquillized it out then tamed it

Me and my brother found one flying close to our base and decided to tame it, so we grabbed our tapejara and froze our rex in a cryopod and thought we were set. And we were! Until the knocked out Quetzal saw a pack of Allo's smiling faces and thought to itself "looks safe enough." We thought the rex would work but it was slow. Really slow. One of them killed the Quetzal and almost mopped the floor with my tapejara but the rex survived till the end. And you know what we got from that whole experience? -30 tranq darts and hurt pride....

I made a pack that once I beat the island map I’m gonna make a quetzal house and I’m gonna spend 20 in game day just traveling in it for fun😌😌

I tamed one of these guys a while back. A green male that I named Pima. He was so NOT easy to find or tame. I had to keep getting more meat for him, but thankfully we were near an area with a lot of herbivores (and some Dilophosaurus) that kept wandering close by.

If I'd had access to them at the time, I would've used the shocking tranq darts. Also, Pima is an acronym. If you know what it means, you KNOW.

It was not a good idea

So I was trying to tame a Quetzel and I finally knocked it out when I realized I forgot food and narcotics so I was really mad and sad so I left to get food and narcotics but when I came back I couldn’t find my Quetzal up if this has ever happened to you when taming something down if it has not

So when I got god mode, one of the first things I had to go get was of course a quetzal. I knew they were big, and I thought, what could be more useful then a flying portable house, right?

Well I’m not here to tell you my taming story, it’s almost identical to all other ones you probably heard, with a tappy and it passing out in one of the worst spots, the water.

Anyways, one thing you should know about me is that I only name my creatures if they do something memorable, that way I don’t get attached to useless animals.

My quetzal had not yet earned name, in fact, I barely ever used him, but when it came time to do the kill a giga quest, I figured, what could be more useful than a flying mobile house bird?

My plan was to kill the giga the majority of the way with god mode, so I’d be safe, and then start the quest and kill it the rest of the way.

It was so hard to get a good shot from my quetzal, so I used my god mode to hover below it (keep in mind, this meant I did not have good practice standing on my quetzal, and still thought you could stand on the wings)

When it came time to turn the quest on, I had just barely practice standing on my quetzal and kept falling, meaning I would have to turn the quest of fast in order to save myself from fall damage.

I finally got the giga killed with a rocket launcher, and that is how my quetzal earned the name ‘Quizzo the Giga Slayer’.
