So I spawned at red ob to tribute artifact and I heard a Bola throwing sound when I spawned when I looked around me there was a frickin quetzal taking off. Quetzals NEVER touch the ground unless when they first spawn.

If you already have a quetzal and have a trap set up on it then I recommend looking around the lake in the middle of the redwoods, I usually find them there or in the area and you also could have a chance at an argy so win/win

I find that the best way to encounter these beings is by not having the equipment or dinosaurs to knock it. The level is determined by distance from your base/supplies (easier to get supplies=lower level).

I've seen a couple flying down near the southern beach, they like quite cool.

I was just chillin on my platform in the Redwoods/Swamps and a BRIGHT red quetzal just gracefully floats on by while I’m taming the big newt whatever it’s called.

Starting to think this bird does not spawn on vulgeuro can’t find it anywhere after doing nothing but search on a wyvern for days.

Everyone saying red obb bit they are super common on val if you just fly around you'll find one within 10 minutes near deinon eggs just net it and tranq it with darts in the head and you have a quetzal ovis are also quite common on val so no need for kibble

These queztals are so darn hard these things are hard to find also there hard to tame it took me forever to knock it out, the queztal moves alot and it runs and then you lose it in the red wood forest, gone never to be seen.

(Dica 2 como domar: para desmaiar um Quetazal você pode usar uma Tapejara é uma besta comgacho quando Tapejara estiver no chão use a besta para tirar o gancho na Tapejara e depois Mande ela atacar o Quetazal. Já se você estiver jogando com seu amigo peça para ele mondar na Tapejara e levar você até o Quetazal enquanto você está no banco de trás peça para ele ficar do lado do Quetazal e enquanto você está com arco uma besta ou rifle para atirar no Quetazal para dismaiar-lo. Se você estiver no mapa extinção você deve pegar uma coruja da neve e chegar perto do Quetazal e congele depois que você congelar o Quetazal ele vai cair e quando encostar no chão o gelo vai se quebrar e ele vai pousar aproveita essa oportunidade para construir uma armadilha para o Quetazal. Já se você estiver jogando com seu amigo peça para ele ficar do lado do Quetazal com gelando Quetazal em quando você atira no Quetazal com uma besta um rifle um arco uma coisa que desmaio.)
