On a lvl 28 it takes 3 kibble to tame it fully, only went up to about 96% with 2 kibble then I had to scavenge for some meat but by the time I got the meat, the bird had woken up. Solid waste of time and resources.

Throw a bola on it and hit with a club. Then feed it meat!

For a level 10 use 1 dodo kibble and it will be tamed in 4 minutes on mobile

I recommend taming 3… at the same time

Bola works great, then load them up with tranq arrows. Be ready with a second bola just in case- they’ll immediately try to fly away if the bola breaks.

Just use slingshot to the noggin and papaw you got yourself a pteranodon you just have to shove berries and meat down it’s throat and walk away and come back and it will say tamed by so and so like if helpful

If you bola this then tranq it you can easily tame this by starving it. YOU WILL NEED NARCOTICS. Next make dodo kibble or use the chef station on mobile. Once starved by about 400 food points put the kibble in And it will tame in less than 30 seconds

They are a great beginner flyer. I got one as my first bird ever and made a saddle it was great. Not that good for mid game and endgame tho. Really easy to tame to. Just bolla it and shoot with tranq or slingshot.

Use one narco Dart in the chest,it will attempt to take off and drop.

Aim for rock islets and higher or secluded places, higher up levels take some time to take. YOU NEED narcotics after it's knocked out unused 40 on a level 33

Bola it, club it, feed it thing to put it to sleep then force feed it that’s how I got mine at only lv 10

Bola it and shoot tranq arrows to knock it out quickly. Then kill a dodo and feed it to it. Make sure to not use fish since it sucks. And there you have it! Early game flyer with early game saddle for many reasons!

Btw, you won’t need to use narcotics if you use mutton.

Tip. You can knock out Pteranodons up to level 150 with just a bola and sling shot, you have to shoot the sling shot very quickly or the bird will escape

For beginners, find a low level one and bola it then smack it with s club. Give it raw meat and narcotics/bio-toxins.

Trank arrows and a bola be in higher Ground

Wait for one to land, and throw a bola at it. It should go down in 1-3 tranq arrows if it’s not a high level. If you don’t have tranq arrows you might be able to hit it with a club if it doesn’t get out of the bola. Shouldn’t need more than 20 meat but you will need a lot of narco berries. Around 50 were used for my level 48

A 145 took one tranq dart to the face to knock it out.

Get a bola, find a pteranodon, wait for it to land, hit him with bola, shoot him with tranquilizers, and use meat or dodo kibble. Wait a while. EZ Tame {Difficultly Level: Beginner}

Build an elevated taming pen with gates that open inwards and a roof. Take a flier and lead the pteranadon in with the rare flower buff. Once it wears off the pteranadon will usually lose interest, and you can shut the door and knock it out, the bird is completely safe, and you can starve tame it without worrying about it waking up and flying away.
