Story1 The lost and found pteranodon

My dad let me borrow his pteranodon while I was flying, I accidentally jumped off and lost his pteranodon 😭😭😭😭😭 a few months later well dad was out he found his pteranodon needed a upgrade because it has been killing dinosaurs for all these months.

Story2 The 101 Rex kill

I got a pteranodon with Bolos and knocked it out. I really wanted to tame it so I went into the base and stole my dad‘s blue kibble. I went and fed the pteranodon I was able to tame it but a few months later, my dad took it out with another group of dinosaurs to level it up, but then a level one oh one T-Rex kills, killed my pteranodon 😭😭😭😭😭and the whole group of dinosaurs.

Once there was a spino on the shore near my base. I was going to use a hit and ran strategy on it as it was the best one I had as I was at south one and the strongest dinosaur I had was 4 triceratops. I flew towards it and hit it about seven times till I touched the water and was knocked off. My pt did not fly away it flanked the spino. The spino wasn’t able to hit my pt. Till it was able to get it to the front and bit my pt, my pt turned around hit it about three times and killed it. And that’s how a level 25 pt killed a level 13 spino. (Question is this normal? I am new to the game)

What blood was I after? SPINOSAURUS BLOOD. We massacred all and every one of the stupid animals. When I got to where I died, my item cache was gone. I looked around. Destinations body was gone. With no pteranodon saddle, I had to start from square one. Walking again. I did tame another pteranodon ( Named her Quantum flyer, tamed at level 25 ) and she is level 62 now + I have an Argy named Ari, but I always will miss Destination: Infinity!

I know people like to keep their first thing. But I couldn’t keep my first pteranodon. I couldn’t keep her for natural causes, along with mine to take the egg.

I’m not about self promotion. You can like, and I guess you can say it’s a prayer for Destination: Infinity!, but you don’t have to. It’s my fault that she’s dead. I wanted the spino egg. It’s my fault she attacked the spino. I had watched too many videos of Ark not to know the passive command. But She’s in a better place now.

I once had a pteranadon named Nick. He was in level 30 or something. One day we flew to a drop to loot. When we came to the drop there was to high level raptors. I didn’t want to fight, so I tried to fly away. But Nick ran out of stamina and landed right in front of the raptors. We servived the attack, but Nick didn’t have much health left. I left him on the beach so he could get more health. The drop was about ten meters away. Then I heard something and turned around and saw a dilophosaurus attack Nick. I ran to him to save him but it was to late. Just before I killed the dilophosaurus, Nick died. And he died for nothing, because the loot in the drop was worthless. Poor Nick. He was the only flying creature I have.

Guys today I just went to the artic on my ptera I encountered literally so much argys two rexs two mammoths and 12 chalicos and when I was going back to my base I saw a titanosaur near my base it's friendly so I left him there he's just chillin in the swamp I wanna get organic polymer in artic for ghillie so wish me luck pls

My pteranodon Carnelian was literally my best friend I had tamed her early game and she lasted for the longest time she was lvl 136 and the best pteranodon to ever live ❤️ until one day minutes after I lost my saber in the middle chamber a carno lvl 102 runs up to us and she tries to save my… long story short I will avenge her horrid death by killing every carno. One up equals one prayer for Carnelian

Just a little info on my pteranodon’s stats, as of today

PurpleMatter was tamed at Level 85 and came out at 127. She has gained around 30 levels since then. She has around 190% movement and around 160% melee. 1092 HP and a very good saddle.

I had a low level pt called magellan. I became quite attached to him even though he was very low level. One day i was flying close to a swamp and saw a few kapros and decided to check their levels. One was a 140(10 levels from max). I forgot to check the stam. Magellan landed right im front of them. They pounced(there were 2 kapros). Magellan died to save me. He engaged both the kapros to let me escape unscathed. He died a warrior's death. I went back after healing up. Killed the low level. Trapped the 140. (Don't worry, i won't tame it). I kept it caged for days. Then finally, killed it with my sword.

I salute Magellan's bravery and pray you do the same.

These guys are awesome when you’re taming things, just fly onto a tall rock and tranq!

I had one. Her name was misty. She died. To a griffin. I was trying to tame an equs. AFTER FOUR HOURS I found one. I was almost done taming it and then the griffin came. There were TWO HIGH LEVEL griffins. They killed ALL of the equs and then I forgot to put misty on passive. I have lost THREE of these by not putting them on passive. Misty only had 1000 health which was nothing compared to them. She fought bravely. Luckily I found her body and got her saddle and the animal implant so I could bring her back to life. But HAHA IM AS FAR AWAY WAY FROME HOME AS IT GETS. I had to die to get back home So it was get prepared or loose all my stuff trying so I made a chest and put my important stuff in it. I died from a terror bird and respawned at home. She is gone. Please take care of your animals you don’t realize how much they truly mean to you until they are are gone. This goes for all animals not just ark. Thank you for reading.

Here's a crazy story for anyone who's interested. I was playing on single player/non-dedicated and tamed my first pteranodon, named it Swoop (as in the transformer), made a saddle for him, and took him out for a test flight. As we were flying, I tried to figure out how to open his inventory while riding him and accidentally jumped off. I died and tried to find him, lost 3 other tames trying to save him and gave up after that. A few months later I am with my argentavis and a friend who was also riding one and found Swoop alive. Thanks to playing on single player, he never rendered in and thus was safe from starving or being attacked. Took him home and he is still alive today.

Leaf was full of anger. It was the same Raptor that killed her parents. Now it was going to pay. Leaf took off and flew tiny circles above the Raptor. Leaf attacked it in anger and sadness. She bit it, clawed it, every battle tactic she knew, she used. “Your gonna pay!” Squawked Leaf. The Raptor roared in anger as Leaf continues to hurt it. After several attacks (and flying away in fear) the Raptor fell to the ground dead. Leaf squawked happily.Finally, thought Leaf, I got my payback. . .but, I’m still sad and angry, thought Leaf somberly. Leaf took off and flew swiftly over the forest. She saw and smelled smoke. Leaf landed in a clearing and gasped. A human was standing there, with a bola and trankalizer arrow. “You killed my Raptor!” The human exclaimed, “And your gonna replace it” The last thing Leaf saw until sleep overwhelmed her, was the human’s wicked grin.

I once saw a beautiful pteranodon. I used a bola on her and knocked her out. She was dying, I was alerted, and hand fed her, she then became my best freind. She was my first flight, we flew avrywear. We crossed the swamp, explored the volcano, even traveled to mountains for crystals. She helped me survive giant birds, allos, REXES, even spinos. But it then came to a end. We were traveling across a river, looking for a mate for my otter.we saw a spino egg, and the mother was eating a theri. I grabbed the egg, and tried to fly away, but it was too late. She died. She was already low up and in 2 hits she died. She sacrificed her life for mine. Boy, what am I gonna tell her mate... I now have a grave in her memory. R.I.P. Smokey watermelon. 😭😭😭

The life of a Newbie Reborn.

I spawned and started to explore but then immediately died by a pteranodon after taking its egg, I could see that these dinos were a talented species so I considered taming one. It took about 5 levels to figure out how to tame one, I knocked my first pteranodon out with success. I’m an idiot, cuz I thought pteranodons were herbivores sooo that one was a fail, but I found another shortly after and successfully tamed this one I decided to name her Hope. Me and Hope had great times together though when I learned how to make a saddle I was overjoyed to be flying for the first time. She saved me from Dire Wolves, raptors, brontosaurus’s , carnos, argys, and even a rex! But one day when I was having a good time getting iron, I saw something pop up in the chat, “Hope (pteranodon lvl ...) was killed by Alpha Rex lvl 54... I was dejected within a second. I couldn’t even take it, Hope has been with me for 163 levels, but It’s time that I had to let her go. I later found the Rex and stared it straight in the face, I saw nothing, the battle began against me and that Hope stealing IDIOT!! I struck him with a gun, until he was one bullet away, I shot and he bit, we both died and I was satisfied, but still very dejected...

My first game was a pteranodon and he was red,blue, and green. I named him Ark.

I'm crying because it's almost conscious and I'm only on a 6.9 taming level

PurpleMatter: The Survivor of ARK

Once upon a time , I had a pteranodon named PurpleMatter. She was the best pteranodon ever. Don’t be fooled by the fact she’s only Level 154. This is on mobile by the way. I did the tame pteranodon pursuit and got a saddle with 120 armor. Because of that saddle, she has the capability to even take 4 hits from a high level Giga. The best pteranodon I’ve ever had. Because of her, I’m on a journey for a fully mutated Giga. She has protected us from many things. She has survived many things. I put many points in movement and now there’s nothing she can’t survive. (Except probably one hit from a Titan.)

My friend and I joined the same server. She was completely new, and I had well over 200 hours. After a few unlucky days, I found a mating pair of these! Of course, I tamed them up and brought them home.

A few days later, I found an Alpha Rex and my pteranodon had well over 1k stamina; her’s had about 700.

I say, “hey, let’s kill this Alpha Rex!”

Trusting me because I was experienced, she agreed.

“It’s near a high cliff—we’ll be fine.” I said, little did I know that we wouldn’t be fine.

A carno ambushed us an knocked us off, right onto the Alpha Rex. I spammed whistle for my pteranodon to follow, but she wouldn’t. She wouldn’t come.

Instead, she got murdered by the carno. I was chased by the dinosaurs in the area and screamed many times when I heard a Rex roar.

The moral of the story is.. don’t go too high over your head because you’ve done something before, an experience is always going to be slightly different than before.

RIP Echobat, you were a cool pteranodon.
