When knocking out a ptera, make sure to use a crossbow with tranqs and shoot it in the head. Just don't get too close while shooting because if you do, you will either kill it or make its health low which won't give it a good taming effectiveness.

Best thing to do for pteranodons is to get weight to about 300 or so and then try to get like 1500 stamina and the rest of the points into speed if you are trying to build a pteranodon that gets around the map.

Pteranodons are one of the first and easiest Dinos you can get. First game a dodo then use dodo eggs to make kibble for the pteranodon. I've knocked out level 60+ with only two tranquil arrows so it's pretty simple. I would recommend using a bola first when it lands on the ground then shooting it. If you can get it inside your base or a secure base, then no need for spikes. But if outside, use wooden spikes to surround it. But don't fully enclose it with spikes, use one wooden foundation to put down a doorway and door so you can walk in to check on it without worrying about small animals getting in.

Follow them around while they're flying. When they come to land, bola them then hit their head with some tranq arrows/darts. Be sure to use kibble if possible.

All was to make sure you put wood spikes around it to make sure it's safe when taming

You can easily tame them fast with dodo eggs, making a pack is really useful when you gather metal in hard to reach places.

Amazing speed for fast travel across the land, decent weight for simple transport, very good war tame. Probably one of the easiest dinos to tame.

To solve the issue of weight, you can tame more than one. Load them up,but don't totally encumber them, and enable following. You can fly on the one with a saddle, the others will follow.

For the guy who wants to know how to barrel roll I’m pretty sure it’s C on pc and clicking the right analog stick on console, it’s their 3rd attack and uses up a bunch of stamina but it’s powerful and good for getting out of ugly situations.

If you hit one while on an itchy they will still aggro and so will all others in the area (on mobile) so try to tame one thats alone and not around any, I know from personal experience

Belive me or not they can fit through doors on mobile

Tame on herbivore island because nothing kills it.

It will take at least 10 narks to keep it unconscious. And the toripor drops realy fast.
