If u want to spawn the phoenix by command:

admincheat summon Phoenix_Character_BP_C

You can flame thrower at it and it is faster

Only appear in heat waves, reappear in the same spot they were last heat wave, taming carries over from heat wave to heat wave. Possible taming methods include using a griffin and a flame thrower, tapping its pile of ashes in between heat waves, and chasing it down with a fire wyvern.

Use fire wyvern to tame it...Hard to use fire weapons as it doesn't seem to land

You can use the wynern to breath fire on it and follow it round during the heatwave it makes easier to trame without using a random flyar and hit it with a trouch

If you own Bob’s tales, the Gene scanner can be used to locate the ash pile

On asa use a scanner and find the phoenix grab a weapon like a bow and the auto aimer will point to the middle of the phoenix place a triangle stone or metal foundation in the middle of it. Build a wall with the door holes in it 4 high on every side and add a ceiling. Three phoenixs spawn on the server I play on in asa. Repeat with the rest of them. Add pin points to your map for every phoenix. Get a couple of jerabas have one cryod on you and the other on you. You go unconscious all the time on SE so always be prepared for your jeraba to die. Next get a high compound bow or high regular bow if you use a regular bow bring 2 if it's maxed out or more depending on melee damage rating. If you have only 1 bow bring the mats to repair it. Unless it's the compound bow. Next wait for a heat wave good luck I've waited for days before lol I also live there. get your bow out with 500 arrows at least. I carry 1000 then shoot the phoenix if you have a max compound bow I've tamed 3 phoenixs in one heat wave. If they make them rare I'm taking everything I can get in 1 heat wave. After the first phoenix is tamed another one spawns and after that I think you'll have to wait for 2 hours for each one. So it's possible to tame all four in 1 heat wave but good luck they'll need to be all low lv and close to each other. Which is possible I've seen it. Now for some helpful info. If you start taming a phoenix and can't finish it or die the phoenix will escape the trap unless someone is there to see the building you made. I've lost a few. Next tip if your not at the phoenix when the heat wave starts he will be invisible yes invisible such a pain. You can tame it invisible don't worry about it. Unfortunately if you use the scs mod he will not be cryoable just leave render and head back and the phoenix will be poddable that's for tamed and wild phoenixs it's easier to hit the phoenix when you see it obviously so do as you please. And if anyone who reads this thinks a bow is bad I've tamed a 140 110 and 35 by myself in 1 heat wave and only had to travel a total of half the map during the heat wave. Good luck.

Honestly I just hit it with a fire wyvern until it either drops or gets tamed, I mean it's a pain to tame but who doesn't want A Moltres? Trapping it gives me a headache and your character doesn't have to do jack so realistically a stam wyvern is the play. Do I like them? No. Does Silica, Cooked Meat, and Metal go brrrrrrrr? Yes. I'd rate this tame and tame method a solid 6/10 (Unique but really just and indiforge with a twist or some clout showing you have too much time to spend... aparrently putting something to sleep and feeding it its favorite food is considered violent but setting a bird ON FRICKIN FIRE isnt wow wildcard

It can be cloned! I just froze mine with an owl and the cloner recognized it. Will have to force it to “land” otherwise the machine won’t recognize the Phoenix is on there.

Torch it with a fire wyvern.

Fairly sure it works

The higher the damage of the weapon the faster it tames, so attacking stat on wyverns matters when taming, and the damage percent of the weapon firing the fire arrow, and the dmg percent of the flame thrower also matters

Trap the ashes and then wait till the super heat comes back then burn it

If you can’t find the ashes but know the general location of where the Phoenix was, use a Parasuar set to “All” to detect it.

The best way to tame it is by:

1.bring a friend with a fire wyvern and flame thrower

2.don't even think to dismount your wyvern

3.you can make a trap with metal "ser the trap in youtube"

4.enjoy your forge and cooker 🙂🙂🙂

What I seen meant to work to find a phoenix is to use a wyvern and pick up a any animal that can detect a enemy and once you find the Phoenix build a trap and use oil jugs when the heat wave comes use a flamethrower and then continue from there

Its quicker to tame with a fire wyvrm, after feed it sulfur cusit doesn't easy anything else.. also you don't actually need a parasaur unless you're trapping it..you can actually ping it from the dino finder

There only found during SE Heatwaves but when you find one wait till event ends trap around its remains ( they spawn at that place when the event starts back up) then when it spawns again flamethrower it until it tames or just throw a oil jar under it and light it if you don't have a flamethrower

This is another way if you don't wanna wait for the heatwave again get a flier with a taming box (preferably a Quetzal) and chase the flame bird until it gets stuck in the box make sure it can't escape and flamethrower it or do the second option I put
