Please, let’s take a moment to appreciate the justice these guys were finally given in ascended. They can land and have different fire colors! No more cyan phoenixes with ugly orange flames now we can have cyan flames!

command for wild phoenix doesn't work on maps without heatwave like valguero, only tamed command works for maps like taht

Does anyone think the phoenix should be added to astraeos since it's a Greek map and the phoenix is in Greek mythology? Maybe tame it on therokis island and add heat waves?

I don't know if this is ture but after watching some ASA Phoenix taming, I almost felt like they needed the process. In several videos people were able to tame pretty decent levels in shorter time than ASE

You can use the new bobs tall tales gene scanner to find it with no heatwave going. I have found 3 on the map at one time with this. Once you found the spot using the gene scanner use a cryo to lock on to it to find its exact location underground then build your trap over the top of it. Then ice trapped go to town on it with your fire wyvern.

It would be cool if phoenix would spawn on the desert ark on extinction

Baby phoenix eat sulfur. Put the phoenix in a Maewing or maeguana and throw a bunch of sulfer in the inventory and you’ll be good to go.

What is the command to change the phoenix’s flame color and can you even change it ? (Ark mobile)

A little truth: phoenix and featherlight share the same base model, but with different textures obviously, so phoenixes are just burning featherlights, and bigger of course.

Welcome to the ultimate guide to the Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 if you want to tame this guy you should at first prepare tons of fire arrows or level up the damage of your fire wyvern. Finding this guy is incredibly difficult because he is only found in heat waves and is not to big but once you do locate him (or her it does not matter they don’t have genders) wait until he turns into ash at the end of a heatwave and build a cage around the ashes when there is another heatwave and he comes back burn him it’s the only way to tame him he likes fire 🔥. Once you have your own phoenix he (or her) can be very useful he is a fire so it can cook and melt metal (but for some reason not scrap) it also poops silicon pearls and on the rare occasion black pearls 😀. In battle he is not the best but still powerful enough to burn most wild creatures he has three attacks bite,fireball,and scratch (which can also damage rocks 🪨) and also he cannot land and walk so he regains stamina in the air as long as you don’t move or have run on.
