Tips & Strategies

What are tips for phoenix? Tips and strategies for phoenix in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
How to tame one: have parasaurus and a flyer that can take the para 4-8 oil jars and flame arrows set the para to turret mode and detect a phoenix underground and built the trap from nooblet now when the heatwave comes the phoenix should be traped and throw 4 oil jars in each corner of the trap now shot with a flame arrow on the oil and dada there is your phoenix
You can see up to 3 on the same map on official, is saw 2 in one heatwave, a parasaur can detect them, and you can see one glitched in the ground if you are the 1st person to render it after a heatwave, but once you leave render it will be invisable, they will respawn in the same spot that you see it glitched or where it lands after a heatwave
Why don’t people build a trap after u followed it in the last heat wave were it disappeared?
Puts the Anklyo to shame. It gathers about the rate of Metal and Obsidian with its claw attack. Have a high level flyer with good carry weight follow you and you will have resources for days.
PS: it will smelt metal for you overtime, so the weight of metal is essentially cut in half.
It spawns Behind the red obelisk only spawns during heat waves. They chase you if you eat rare flowers btw… Also if it’s not there make a trap then it will spawn and it’s in the trap preferably use fire wyvern or flamethrowers to knock it out and it only eats sulfur
Two-person tame. Get one of you to eat a rare flower consistently, like have at least 30. Once you've successfully located a Phoenix (they're smaller than you might think), both people must be on a high-health fire wyvern. Then, whoever is the designated rare flower bait, start on your duty. As the Phoenix attacks, both must flame breath the Phoenix. IT tames in no time at all. Just remember to keep on those rare flowers, or the Phoenix will de-aggro and speed away from you.
To tame it i allways use a quetz with platform just build a metal box and leave the front area open if the phoenix flies in dismount close the area and use flamethrower
If you are trying to tame a Phoenix some of them can self destruct
Nooblets did a nice video which shows the best and easiest methode to tame a Phoenix
An easy way to catch a Phoenix is to use a fire stone and to use an oil jar
Follow during heat wave. Using a pillar you can locate precise location of its position on the ground. Use rare flowers if you want To agro this beast. Make it follow you to a prime location if possible (very unpredictable). Build a 3x3 square trap 6 high, above it's location and enclose with ceilings. (Stone preferred) Use any method to tame but it requires some serious flames to tame. If you don't get it the first time repeat your trap ontop of your current build now your 12 high with another ceiling ontop. So on and so on until it's tamed. It will leave your trap if you leave render distance(beware) when it spawns you better be there at the trap.
I've tried spawning them in the spawn might not work on Xbox by the way to tame it get a fire wyvern and spit fire at its face when it turns to ash shoot fire at the ash pile OK here's a cheat to tame instantly too click rb and lb at same time while holding those click x and y button to get the admin command bar up for Xbox then put in forcetame and before you do that tho point at the creature you wanna tame then type it in after typing it in click admin command then the creature you point at becomes yours and if you forcetame you can ride it with no saddle
Ascendant torch is immediate tame
Tamed level 100 with just oil jars did it in one got 100% taming effectiveness used nooblets trap design best trap design
Use oil jars and traps to tame it really fast!
Use a trap just search up Phoenix traps ark on YouTube
When trying to Find a phonix best is in night time when you see them super easy during a super heat and get your buddys to help look
Maybe you can use a fire wyvern if you play on a server that allows you to travel to other maps
